Alice Amelia Zenter West, 91, of Center, Texas, died July 10, 2024, Center, Texas.  She was born on June 14, 1933, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, to John Frederick Zenter and Fannie Spruill Zenter.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Tommy West; Parents; Brother, John Zenter; Sister, Sue Moore.  Survivors include, Sons, Ronnie West & wife Connie, Danny West & wife Susan, Troy West & wife Kim, Kerry West & wife Florence.

FRANKLIN RONALD JACKSON II
Franklin Ronald (Ronny) Jackson II, 56, of Jackson Community, died July 5, 2024, in a tragic motor vehicle accident turning into the driveway of his home.  Interment was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on October 2, 1967, in Ruston, Louisiana, to Barbara and Ronnie Jackson Sr., who have preceded him in death. Survivors include, Sister, VJ Jackson.

LACEY KYLE RACHAL
Lacey Kyle Rachal, 41, formerly of Center, died July 1, 2024.  Interment was in Centuries Memorial Park, Benton, Louisiana.  She was born September 1, 1982, in Shreveport, Louisiana, but spent most of her childhood in Center, Texas.  Survivors include, Mother, Mona Reeves; Fathers, Steve Rachal and wife Dianne, John Reeves and wife Amy; Sister, Sara and husband Matt Luquire; Brother, Winston Reeves and husband Jason Crum; Sister, Halley and husband J.B. Gibbs; Sister, Amber Rachal and husband Sean McClanahan; Stepbrother, Vincent Walker.

PAULINE MARY COX SANDIFER
Pauline Mary Cox Sandifer, 94, of Center, Texas, died July 15, 2024, in Center, Texas. Her wishes were to be cremated. She was born in Harlingen, Texas, on September 11, 1929, to Emmett Floyd Cox and Violet Irene (Buel) Cox.  She was preceded in death by, Husbands, Howard Sandifer, Melvin C. Sears; Parents; Son, John Sears; Daughter, Linda Remedies; Brothers, Delbert Cox and Dow Cox.  Survivors include, Son, Ronnie Sears & wife, Lydia; Daughters, Vickey Dudley & husband, Steve Patricia Windham & fiancé, Mandel; Brother, Emmett Cox; Sister, Sue Hobson; Daughter-in-law, Lori Smith; Son-in-law, Robert Remedies.

Kena Rena Ruth, 57, of Center, died July 18, 2024, in Center. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  She was born December 26, 1966, in Center, to Earl Windham and Frances Perez. DAVID PAUL SWANZY
David Paul Swanzy, 86, of Center, Texas, died peacefully at home onJuly 18, 2024. Interment was in Shelbyville Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on March 26, 1938, in Longview, Texas, to William Robert “Bob” Swanzy and Sallie Mae Billingsley Swanzy.  In 1955, David graduated from Center High School as valedictorian, a year ahead of his age group.  He was preceded in death by, Wife of 23 years, Elizabeth Ann Rice Swanzy; Wife of 21 years, Janet Sitges Swanzy; Parents, William Robert and Sallie Mae Billingsley Swanzy; Brothers, William Robert Swanzy, Jr., Jack Richard Swanzy, Melvin Earl Swanzy; Sisters, Sarah Jane Swanzy Golden and Martha Sue Swanzy; Brother-in-law, Donia Dixon “Pete” Golden; Sister-in-law, Wynona Lee “Nonie” Kirl Swanzy.  Survivors include, Wife of 18 years, Maelinda Shepherd Swanzy; Son, David Michael Swanzy of Tyler; Daughter, Elizabeth Suzanne “Betsy” Swanzy of Summit, MS; Stepsons, Berry Morgan Chamness of Philadelphia, PA., Thomas Kelly Chamness and wife Lisa of Baltimore, MD., Matthew Shepherd Chamness of Galveston.

LAWRENCE RAY NETHERLY
Mr. Lawrence Ray Netherly, 81, of East Liberty, Texas, died July 21, 2024, at Pine Grove Nursing Facility in Center, Texas.  He was born in Choice, Texas on June 16, 1943, to the late Willis and Entha Thompson Netherly, Jr.  He is a graduate of Liberty High.  He was drafted into the military. He enlisted into the United States Army on February 28, 1966, and retired after 20 years of service on May 31, 1986. He was preceded in death by, Entha Thompson Netherly (Mother); Willis Netherly, Jr. (Father;  Lou Tilda Singleton (Sister); Jonnie Ray Netherly (Brother); Ruby Nell Netherly Greer (Sister).  Survivors include, Aunt, Ozell Garrett; Nephews, Weldon Greer Jr (Ariel), Cedric Netherly; Nieces, Linday Wimbley (Willie), Terri Powdrill (Kermit), Lynn McDonald (Willie). Mr. Netherly was a humbly private man, so to honor and respect his wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
