TAMMY “FAYE” CHRISTINE McDONALD
Tammy "Faye" Christine McDonald (Holloway), 55, of Timpson, died April 15, 2025, at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on June 3, 1969, to Robert Leonard and Beverly Mae Norwood Holloway.  She was preceded in death by, Father-in-law, Douglas McDonald of Timpson; Ex-father-in-law, Keith Martin of Martinsville; Grandparents, Walter Henry and Emma Norwood, A.L and Emma Irene Holloway.  Survivors include, Husband, Jim McDonald of Timpson; Parents, Robert and Beverly Holloway of Nacogdoches; Son, Spencer Martin (Cassie) of Nacogdoches; Daughter, Katlyn Lawson (Caleb) of Nacogdoches; Bonus son, Ryan “Rufus” McDonald of Timpson; Bonus daughter, Kayla Martin of Nacogdoches; Brother, Darrell Holloway (Lori) of Houston; Sisters, Rebecca Brown (Davis) of Bullard, Candice Jacobs of Nacogdoches; Mother-in-law, Sarah McDonald of Timpson; Brother-in-law, Tim McDonald (Magda) of Timpson.

 

 

 

KAY WATSON
Kay Watson, 80, of Center, died April 19, 2025, in Center.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center. She was born September 24, 1944, in Center, Kay to Robert Shadrick Pate and Faye Elizabeth Schillings Pate. She graduated from Timpson ISD.  She was preceded in death by, Son, Scott Watson; Parents.  Survivors include, Husband, Bobby Watson of Center; Daughter, Angela McDonald and husband Gary of Center; Sister, Alice Pate of Shelbyville; Brother, Barry Pate and wife Linda of Center; Daughter-in-law, Selena Watson of Center.

BRENDA KAYE NIXON STANDLEY
Brenda Kaye Nixon Standley, 74, died April 20, 2025.  Interment was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born November 13, 1952, in Center, Texas, to   Melvin Eugene Nixon and Mary Joy Ryans Nixon.  She was preceded in death by, Brother, Johnny Nixon; twin Sister, Linda Nixon; Parents. Survivors include, Husband, Herbert Standley and her sweet Bella (Yorkie); Sons, Jeffrey Standley and his wife Denise, Jeremy Ashcraft and his wife, Ginger; Sisters, Mary Jane and husband Morris Sanders, Sandria Whitten.

TROY LEE RISINGER
Troy Lee Risinger, 71, of Shelbyville, Texas, died April 18, 2025, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in West Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on August 6, 1953, in Center, Texas, to James David Risinger and Ruby (Denby) Risinger.  He graduated from Shelbyville High School and joined the United States Marines. Troy Proudly served in the Marines for 9 years.  He was preceded in death by, Daughters, Rebecca Lee Eddins, Tabatha Joy Risinger; Father, James David Risinger.  Survivors include, Daughter, Kimberly Kay Risinger; Mother, Ruby Risinger; Brothers, James Risinger, Donald Risinger, Bobby Risinger; Sisters, Debbie Willey, Betty Jones and husband Jack, Ronda Moore and husband John.

Johnny Ray Rector, 65, of Center, died April 14, 2025, in Iowa Park, Texas. He was born August 5, 1960 to Johnny Bruce Rector and Algae Garrett Rector.  Survivors include, Wife, Teena Rector; Son, Jonathan Polley; Sister, Teresa Rector.

CHARLES RAY COCKRELL
Charles Ray Cockrell, 62, of Center, Texas, died April 20, 2025, in Timpson, Texas. Interment will be in Sholar Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born on June 5, 1962, in Center, Texas, to Charles Harvey Cockrell and Jeanette (Brittain) Cockrell.  He was preceded in death by, Father, Charles Cockrell; Grandparents, Dutch and Alice Cockrell; Aunts, Mildred Brittain, Doris Cockrell.  Survivors include, Brother, Johnny Cockrell & wife Debra; Aunt, Merle Whitney; Uncle, Delbert Cockrell.

JIMMY DUKE STEWART
Jimmy Duke Stewart, 81, died  April 19, 2025, in Humble, Texas.  Interment will be in Waterman Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born July 16, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas, to Marshall and Mae Stewart.  His journey through life was marked by his service to his country as an Army veteran, a testament to his enduring patriotism and courage. A devoted husband to Rita Stewart since June 22, 1996, Jimmy was a pillar of support and love.  He was preceded in death by, Siblings, Tiny Bennett, Rex Eddins, Wayne Stewart, Pat Lunsford, Bruce Stewart, and Josephine Newell.  Survivors include, Cherished children, Brenda Rogers, Kary Coffman, Christine Payne, Kayla Johnson and her husband Vaughn, Lynn Wells, Patricia Stevens and her husband Josh, Deborah Hailey and her husband Patrick.

HELEN JOYCE GOODWIN
Helen Joyce Goodwin, 86, of Center, died April 17, 2025, in Center, Texas.  Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Center.  She was born March 4, 1939, in Center, Texas to Ralph Mann and Christine Norris Mann.  Survivors include, Son, Lester Mann of Center; Brother, Charles Mann of San Diego, CA.
