Bobbie Jane Childress, 81, of Joaquin, died September 7, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport, Louisiana.  She was born September 4, 1944, in Logansport, Louisiana, to Ollie Lee Odis Morris and Hazel Barlow Morris.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Don Childress; Husband, Johnny Ray Laffitte; Parents; Brother, Johnny Marvin Morris; Sister, Mary Helen Roberts; Brothers-in-law, Clifford Honick and Richard Roberts.  Survivors include, Daughter, Tammy and husband Jimmy Hamilton of Joaquin; Son, Dennis Childress and wife Shawnia of Center; Sister, Marguerite Honick of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

TYRON YOVAN CLEVELAND
Tyrone Yovan Cleveland, 56, died September 3 at his home in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Westview Cemetery, Center.  He was born to Alton Watts and Margaret Cleveland on May 7, 1969 in Center.  He was preceded in death by, Parents;  Brothers, Marcus Cleveland, Christopher Cleveland, Micheal Cleveland; Sisters, Komecia Cleveland, Kemi Cleveland.  Survivors include, Brother, Patrick Cleveland; Sister, Sandy Watts Quarles (Billy); Children, Daughters, Kemi Evans (Qutarious), Kyandra Cleveland; Son, JaDarren Cartwright.

FESTUS ASBURY WATSON, III
Festus (Fess) Asbury Watson III, 72, of Joaquin, died September 3, 2025, in Center.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  He was born October 21, 1952, in Grand Saline, Texas, to Festus Asbury Watson, Jr. and Billie Geraldine Milton Watson.  He was preceded in death by, Daughter, Heather Watson; Parents.  Survivors include, Wife, Teresa Stone Watson of Joaquin; Son, Festus A. Watson IV and wife, Katie of White Hall, Arkansas; Stepdaughters, Heidi and husband, Randall Pritchett of Joaquin, Piper and husband, Chance Moton of Huxley, Ciara O’Rear of Joaquin; Sister, Gail Watson Johnston and fiancé, Tony Ray Bethard of Tyler.
