    Jesse Elliott Polk, 72, of Timpson, died February 22, 2009 at his home in Timpson. His body has been donated to medical science at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, LA. as he requested. Mr. Polk was born May 4, 1936 in South Carolina. Jesse Polk retired from the U.S. Navy.     John Wayne Schulz, age 63, of Timpson, died February 20, 2009 at his home in the Silas Community. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County. Born October 30, 1945, in New Braunfels, Texas, John was the son Raymond Henry and Ester Seekatz Schulz. Preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Raymond Schulz. Survivors include, Wife, Sue Schulz of Timpson; Son, Travis Schulz of Center, Texas; Daughters, Terri Alford of Timpson, Janice Hughes of Carthage, Rebecca Oliver Justin of Timpson; Sister, Diana Davenport of Greenville, NC.
