I am looking for info on my grandfather's family, his name was James Phillip McCauley and he was born in 1900.  His father was Joe McCauley, his mother was named Walker and they lived in Shelby County.  I heard my
grandfather left Shelby County after shooting a man over  something to do with a horse, this would have been in the teens or 20's.  The man did not die but was severely injured.  I have received a lot of info on the Walker clan but do not know much about the McCauley side.  John Wayne McCauley   j.mccauley@worldnet.att.net
