    I was born in Shelby County and am looking for some one who may remember Mamie Lou Woods & her mother Mrs Woods. She was a great painter. BOBBI LOIS WRIGHT HORTON
     Bobbi Lois Wright Horton, 71, of Nacogdoches died January 10, 2007.  Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County.   Born October 26, 1935, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Harvey and Allie Lee Carroll Wright.  Mrs. Horton was a Homemaker.  Survivors include her husband, William H. Horton, of Nacogdoches; son, Michael H. Horton of Nacogdoches; Daughter, Jeanne Martin of Mt. Enterprise; Brother, Glenn Wright of Marshall; Sister,  Linda Dollar of Joaquin.  Taylor Funeral Home. 
FRANCES HOLLAND MOORE
     Frances Holland Moore, 87, of San Augustine died January 11, 2007, in Center.  Burial was in Jackson Cemetery.  Born September 16, 1919, in Midlothian, Texas, she was the daughter of Emory Isaac and Mary Kate Jones Holland.  Mrs. Moore was a Homemaker.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Ray Moore.  Survivors include Daughter, Mary Kathryn Abernathy of San Augustine; Brother, Bryant Holland of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Mangum Funeral Home.
KELTON WAYNE SAMFORD
     Kelton Wayne Samford, 65, of Center died January 12, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Newburn Cemetery.  Born March 30, 1951, he was the son of Kelton H. and Addie Mae Pleasant Samford.  Mr. Samford is survived by Sons, Robert Samford of Center, Stacey Samford, Pete Owens of Center; Daughter, Kristy Consford of Shelbyville and Jennifer Raymond of Center; Sister Peggy Midkiff of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
DOUGLAS JAMES WESTERFIELD
     Douglas James Westerfield, 57, of Joaquin died January 12, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Lone Cedar Cemetery.  Mr. Westerfield was a former employee of Center ISD and was a veteran of U.S. Air Force.  Survivors include wife, Cindy Westerfield of Joaquin; Daughter, LeeAnn Hightower of Joaquin; Parents, Mert and James Westerfield of Joaquin; sister, Margaret Quartel of Plano

MAURENE APPLEBURY                                     
    Maurene Applebury, 101, of Center died January 15, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery.  Born May 10, 1905, in Joaquin, she was the daughter of William Frank and Lavada Walker Talley.  She is preceded in death by 2 husbands, Thomas H. Killen and Henry Applebury, parents and son Earl L. LAJUAN STILL KAY
     LaJuan Still Kay, 70, of Huxley, died January 18, 2007.  Burial was in Resthaven Cemetery Houston, Texas.  Born April 16, 1936, she was the daughter of Harryand Lucille Still.  Mrs. Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa, her parents, and brother Jack and Michael Still.  Survivors include husband Bill Kay; son Marty Kay; Brother, Jerry Still; Sister, Judy Partin of Nacogdoches  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
