RICHARD LEE RHODEN ADAMS
    Richard Lee Rhoden Adams, 50, of Timpson died January 16, 2007.  Cremation was requested.  Born February 26, 1956, in El Paso, Texas, he was the son of Roland S. Roden and Dana Merrial Reed.  Mr. Adams was a machinist, iron worker and logger.  He is preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Adams.  Survivors include mother, Dana Reed Rhoden Adams of Timpson; father, Roland Rhoden of Willis; brother, James Allen Rhoden of League City and Sister, Sherry Rhoden Ragsdale of Timpson.  Mangum Funeral Home.
JOYCE MARIE WHEELER CROCKER
    Joyce Marie Wheeler Crocker, 78, of Nacogdoches died January 15, 2007.  Burial was Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery.  Born October 7, 1928, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of R. B. Wheeler and Leona Latham Wheeler.  Mrs. Crocker is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Oris Crocker; brother, Dearl Wheeler; sister, Betty Wheeler.  Survivors include daughters, Maxine Adams, Irene Self, Betty Patin, Donna Wood, All of Nacogdoches.  Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

    J. B. Evans, 79, of Tenaha died January 17, 2007.  Burial was in Attoyac Cemetery, San Augustine County.  Born November 27, 1927, in Geneva, San Augustine County, he was the son of James Benjamin and Alice Richardson Evans.  Mr. Evans is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Rash Evans; daughter, Annie Jean Evans; sisters, George Mae Harris, Gladys Martin and Bennie Faye Weir.  Survivors include daughter, Alice Jean Sandler, Bobbie Ann Luman of Carthage, Ellen Janice Carlton of Jasper, Judy Faye Wolff of Brookland, Donice Smith of MNorgans Point, Eloise Kencel of Bronson, Elaine Ray of Deweyville and Edna Odessa Glass of Moscow; sons, Jimmy Glenn Evand of Carthage, James ray Evans of Buna, Marcus Wayne Evans of Center and Jeremy Lance Evans of Center; brothers, L.     Etta R. Sneed, 54, died January 9, 2007.  Burial was in Westview Cemetery.  Born July 1, 1952, she was the daughter of R. L.     Jewell Sheffield, 89, died January 15, 2007 in Nacogdoches,  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born May 29, 1918 in Center, she was the daughter of Joseph Crawford Russell and Susan Ila Jernigan.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James Sheffield, brothers, Roy Perry Russell, Buford Dixon Russell, Simon Winford Russell, Harvey Russell; sister, Stella Marie Russell, Thelma Fults, Ira R.     Rosine Melton Pinkston, 84, died January ??, 2007.  Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, in Appleby.  Born September 11, 1923, she was the daughter of William B. Melton and Rosa Belle Blacksher Melton.  Ms. Pinkston was a teacher in Shelbyville School.  She is preceded in death by by her husband William R. Pinkston; brothers, James Vard, Joe George Travis, Rosser and Kenner Melton; Sisters, Laura Melton Trawick and Fannie Lucille Melton.   Survivors include daughter Martha Kilpatrick; son, John Pinkston Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Directors.
