GEORGE DEWEY FAUSSETT, JR.
George Dewey Faussett, Jr., age 66, of Carthage, Texas, died January 26, 2011 in Tyler. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Logansport, Louisiana. He was born Nov. 6, 1944, in Center, Texas to George Dewey and Hortense Alamay Faussett. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Wife, Janet Faussett of Carthage; Sons, Michael Ray Hughes & wife Cathy of Kemp, Otis Hughes & fiancé Monica of Carthage; Daughters, Tonya Renee Polanco & husband Jimmie of Groves, Pamela Freshour & husband Skip of Temp, AZ, Tersia Davis of Lufkin; Brothers, David Faussett & wife Janice Kay of Tenaha, James Ray Faussett & wife Pam of Timpson; Sister, Doris Hooper of Henderson.

Geneva Jones Higginbotham, 74, of Timpson, Texas, died February 4, 2011 in Timpson. Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery, Tyler, Texas. She was born July 4, 1936 in Grand Saline, Texas to Robert Jones and Lorretter Clark Murphy. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Ricky Higginbotham. Survivors include, Husband, Vernon Higginbotham of Timpson; Daughter, Lisa Higginbotham of Shreveport, Louisiana; daughter-in-law Katrina Higginbotham of Lake Dallas, Texas; Brothers, Alvin Murphy of Colorado, Calvin Murphy of Tyler, Dalvin Murphy of Tyler.
