The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting February 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street. We will have two guest speakers this month.  Ms Billie Sue Payne will speak to us about the history of The First United Methodist Church and Ms Suzanne Ihlo will speak about the Methodist Church Cemetery.  Everyone is invited to attend.

Sunni Sicko, 27, of Center, died January 31, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident. Interment will be in Rather Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born June 27, 1988 in Nacogdoches to Roy Sicko and Inga Bell Sicko. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 2006. She was preceded in death by, Sisters, Brandi Lynn Lout, Angel Larraine Lout; Grandparents, Bryan & Billie Bell & Bonnie Mabe. Survivors include, Children, Jackson Holloway, Heaven Metcalf, Allison Bolton; Parents, Roy & Inga Sicko of Center; Brother, Eric Sicko of Center; Sister, Jayce Jackson of Center.

He was born September 14, 1944, in La Crosse Wisconsin, to John E. Tidwell and Imah Cohen Tidwell. He was preceded in death by his parents.
