THEOTIS DAVIS
   Theotis Davis, 77, died January 24, 2005.  Burial was in St. John Cemetery.  Born October 2, 1927, he was the son of Felix and Corine Davis.  Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father Felix Davis; brother, Clifton Davis and son, Alvin Davis.  Survivors include wife, JoAnn Davis fo Dallas; mother, Corine Davis of Center; daughters, Naretta Crosby of Center Francis Reed of Harbor City, California and Sheba and Kamisha Davis of Longview.  Hicks Mortuary.
BURTON GEORGE BURNS
   Burton George Burns, 81, of Center died February 2, 2005, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial was in Smith Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born June 19, 1923, in Pelican, Louisiana, he was the son of Lonnie and Donnie Burns.  Mr. Burns was a World War II veteran.  He was married to Wanda Streetman Burns, and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include daughters, Sandra Martin of Sibley, Louisiana and Sue Foshee of Mansfield; sons, Hayward Burns of Benton, Louisiana, Terry Burns of Logansport, Louisiana, Steve Burns of Joaquin and Mark Burns and Kevin Burns, both of Mansfield; sisters, Mary DeSoto and Helen Thomas, both of Shreveport and Marie La Tona of Main.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
LAFAYETTE DERAMUS
   Lafayette Deramus, 84, died January 26, 2005.  Burial was in
Smyrna-Timpson Cemetery, Timpson.  Born February 7, 1920, she was the daughter of Dan and Lovie Hooper.  Mrs. Deramus was preceded in death by her parents Lovie and Dan Hooper; husband, T. J. Deramus.  Survivors include sister, Dan Lois Williams of Los Angeles, California; daughter, O'Letha Eaden, Pricilla Deramus of Houston; sons, Bill Deramus of Dallas and Charles Deramus of Houston.  Community Funeral Home.
T. J. WILLIAMS
   T. J. Williams, 81, of Kilgore died February 4, 2005, in Tyler.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  Born August 8, 1923, Shelby County, he was the son of Ely and Beatrice Bates Williams.  Mr. Williams was retired from Fina Oil and was a Veteran of World War II.  He was married to Lorena Williams, and she preceded him in death.   Survivors include daughters, Tommie Williams of Kilgore and July Easley of Talco; son, Steve richards of Friendswood; sisters, Majorie Bass of Diaboll and Johnnie Thomas of Kewanee, Illinois; brother, A.W. Williams of Lovington, New Mexico.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
JAMES W. WORTHINGTON
   James W. Worthington, 63, of Huxley died February 3, 2005, at his residence.  Burial was in Wimberly-Rayburn Cemetery.  Born May 26, 1941, in Prescott, Arkansas, he was the son of John Tillman and Nancy Gist Worthington.  Mr. Worthington was retired form Lucent Technology.  Survivors include wife, Nelda Worthington of Huxley; sons, James W. Worthington, II of Richland Hills and Scotty Liles of Stanley, Louisiana; daughters, Nancy Kay Krail of Killeen and Shonda Elliott of Huxley.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
BOBBIE ESSIE SMITH GEE
   Bobbie Essie Smith Gee, 92, of Short Commmunity died February 4, 2005 in Tomball.  Burial was in Short Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born February 23, 1912, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of William Marshall Barbee and Inez Hughes Barbee.  Mrs. Gee was employed with American Can Company.  She was married to Patrick Smith, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include daughters, Jackie Joy of Tomball and Patsy Austin of Conroe; son, William Patrick Austin of Houston.  Mangum Funeral Home.
JUSTIN KEITH VEILLON
   Justin Keith Veillon, 15, of Timpson died February 6, 2005, in Center.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.   Mr. Veillon was born January 17, 1990, in Port Arthur.  He was a student at Timpson High School.  Survivors include mother, Lynn Byrom of Timpson; father, Robert Veillon of Vidor; brothers, Thomas Byrom and Dylan Byron, both of Timpson; half-brother, Chance Veillon of Vidor.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
PEARL DEASON
   Pearl Deason, 85, of Patroon died February 7, 2005, in San Augustine.  Burial was in Patroon Cemetery.  Born July 3, 1919, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Cal and Cynthia Jamison Risinger Bradshaw.  Mrs. Deason was married to James D. AUDREY MORA
   Audrey Mora, 79, of Center died February 8, 2005, in Center.  Burial was in White Rock Cemetery.  Born December 30, 1925, in Center, she was the daughter of Hillary J. and Annie Laura Miller Windham.  Mrs. Mora was a retired beautician and a homemaker.  Survivors include son, Carlton Watson of Center; daughter, Shirley Gilliland of Center; stepson, Randy Mora of Timpson; stepdaughter, LaQuida Reneau of Nacogdoches and Janis Mora of Humble; brothers, Harold Windham of Sulphur Springs and Melvin Windham of Crosby sisters, Navada Hamilton of Crosby and Novie Boyle of Gary.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
JESSE BITTICK
   Jesse "Pistol" Bittick, 81, of Center died February 8, 2005, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born September 25, 1923, in Center, he was the son of George C. and Jessie Murphy Bittick.  Mr. Bittick was a veteran of World War II and was employed with Parker Motor Company.  Survivors include wife, Barbara Bittick of Center; son, Bruce Bittick of Center; daughters, Elaine Wagnon and Marlene Doggett, both of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ACASSIA SMALL
   Acassia Der Veruna Small, 2, died February 2, 2005, in Center. Burial was in Blount Chapel Cemetery.  Born December 19, 2002, she was the daughter of Derrick Davis and Veverly Small.  Survivors include her mother, Veverly Small of Center; father, Derrick Davis of Keatchie, Louisiana; stepfather, Ali Lister of Center; sister, Araylene Lister of Center.  Community Funeral Home.
