DORIS MASSEY PARKER
Doris Massey Parker, 89, of Center, died February 9, 2011. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. She was born on February 12, 1921 in Center, Texas, to Lola Ruth Hunter Massey and Johnnie Thomas Massey. Doris was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, F. E. Parker, Sr.; Sister, Johnnie Ruth Massey Brown; Brother, Cecil Edgar Massey. Survivors include, Children, Pam Parker Wall & husband William of Denver, Colorado, Patti Parker Peterson & husband James of Fort Worth, Frank E. Parker, Jr. & wife Cheryl of Dallas.

JOHN A. PATE, JR.
John A. Pate, Jr., 85, died February 10, 2011. Burial was in Rosewood Park Cemetery Mausoleum. He was born December 16, 1925 in Center, Texas to John A. Pate, Sr. and Ruth Chapman Pate. He served his country during WWII in U. S. Army Medical Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Wife, Maxine Rhodes Pate; Daughters, Debbie Barthol & husband, Dwaine of Hughes Springs, Janet Blake & husband John of Longview; Sister, Lawanda Heaberlin of Longview.

He was born April 9, 19 40 in Center, Texas to Bert F. and Maurice Sowell Gafford. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Kenneth Wayne Gafford. He served his country in the United States Army from June 1959 until December 1984, retiring as a First Sergeant. He was born September 22, 1937 in Jeanrette, Louisiana to Howard Judson Johnson and Mozelle Patterson Miears. Mr. Johnson served his country in the U. S. Army.
