Sammy Cook, 63, of Center, died February 17, 2010 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday February 21, 2010 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. He was born November 8, 1946 to George Euwell and Clara Belle Davis Cook. He is preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Junior Askew, Kenneth Askew. Daniel Wayne Oliver, 75, of Timpson, TX, passed on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Graveside services will be held at Corinth Cemetery, Timpson, TX.  He was born November 05, 1934, in Tenaha, TX.  Daniel Wayne Oliver was the son of the late John Wesley and Elva (Forsyth) Oliver.  His survived by his wife, Margaret Witherspoon Oliver; a daughter Andrea Oliver of Timpson: sons Mark Oliver and wife Randee of Mt. Clara L. Griffin, 92, of Center, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Shelby Regional Medical Center.  Burial was at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.  She was born March 21, 1917 in Center.  She is preceded in death by Husband, Dick Griffin.  She is survived by Sons Richard Griffin & wife Mary Ann of Center; Bobby Griffin & wife Sandy of Lufkin; Jerry Griffin & wife Phyllis of Joaquin; Dannie Griffin of Houston; eight Grandchildren; ten Great Grandchildren; and one Great Great Grandchild.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Online condolences & tributes can be sent at

Callye Vaughn Lynch, 93, of Shelbyville, died February 16, 2010 in Center. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born June 8, 1916 in Shelby County to George William Vaughn and Mary Ann Buckley Vaughn. She was preceded in death by, Husband, S. J. Lynch; Daughter, Diann Lynch.
