I am trying to find any information on my gggrandfather,William Nail, married Charity Sessums Courtney around 1851, Had 3 children by this marriage John Washington Nail, Sarah Catherine Nail and S.D. I am related  to Eltroy, Mitroy, Sonny and host of other Ayers in Center.We moved to Houston in 1952 and my father died in 1955. Any information would-be helpful. MARGIE HELEN TAYLOR---Margie Helen Taylor,73,   of Duncanville,  died February 15, 2002.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.  She was born December 5, 1928 to E. Hearne and Lola Williams Watson in Center.  She was a 1946 graduate of Center High School.  Survivors include her husband Hilton M. Taylor of Duncanville; daughters, Karen Ann Conley, Marcy Lea Selby and Tina Bragg; son, Michael Taylor; sisters, Dorothy DeFord and Joy Littlelleir.  Watson & Son Funeral Home.
CHARLENE LYNN RUDD WILLINGHAM---Charlene Lynn Rudd Willingham, 53, of Tyler died February 15, 2002 in Tyler.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  She was born September 26, 1948.  Survivors include her husband, Butch Willingham of Tyler; daughters, Mandy Campbell and Elizabeth Eckerfield; brother, Gene Rudd of Lufkin.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
VIRGIE MAE GRAY---Virgie Mae Gray, 92, of Shelbyville died February 15, 2002 in Center.  Burial was in Rather Cemetery.   Mrs. Gray was born September 19, 1909 in San Augustine County.  She was preceded in death by he husband Clarence Gray; daughter, Ruby Gray; and son Thomas Gray.  Survivors include her sons, Glenn Gray of Center, Winfred Gray of Sun City West, Arizona, Wayne Gray of Legett, Buddy Gray of Center and Charles Gray of Spring;  daughters, bill Hancock of Shelbyville, Mildred Edmonds of Center, Opal Singletary of Magnolia and Dianne Bragg of Magnolia.
TONI GRACE SHOFNER ALFORD---Toni Grace Shofner Alford, 41 died February 17, 2002 in Center.  Burial was in Latham Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mrs. Alford was born August 23, 1960, in Carthage, to Prentice and Bobbie Ann Harrison Shofner.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Shofner.  Survivors include her husband, Noble Alford of Center; daughters, Amber and Khristina Alford both of Center; son Cody of Center; father and Stepmother, Prentice and Janell Shofner of Center; sisters Penny Todd of Center, Mary Sims of Shelbyville and Jenny Holt of Center; brothers Printice and John Shofner, both of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ALAN EUGENE SHAW---Alan Eugene Shaw, 17, of Joaquin died February 14, 2002 in Joaquin.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Mr. Shaw was born March 24, 1984 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to William David and Kelly Ann Bolles Shaw.  He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; and uncle Steven Lynn Shaw.  Mr. Shaw is survived by his parents David an Kelly Ann Shaw of Joaquin; sister, Casey Faye Shaw of Joaquin; brother, Steven Franklin of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
LILLIE BELL KING---Lillie Bell King, 98, died January 30, 2002.  Burial was in Thompson Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mrs. King was born March 28, 1903 to Henry Hewitt and Lillie Smith in Shelby County.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Roosevelt Price; second husband L.J. King; son, Johnnie Price; Daughters, Nettie Shaw and Lelia McCoy.  Mrs. King is survived by her daughters, Elnora McCowin of Tyler and Beadar McCowin of Detroit, Michigan.  Community Funeral Home.
HENRY LEE MOORE---Henry Lee Moore, 59, died January 21, 2002.  Burial was in BoBo Cemetery in Tenaha.  Mr. Moore was born April 8, 1942 in Joaquin to Henry and Charlice Lee Moore.  Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; four brothers; and one son, Henry Joe Moore.  He is survived by his wife Thena M. Moore of Tenaha; sons, Gillis Earl of Timpson, Henry Edward Moore and DeWayne Moore both of Tenaha; daughters, Pearl Bizzell of kaufman and Thelma Jean Moore of Tenaha; brothers, Charles Moore, Glenn Moore, Alton Ray Moore, Marvin Moore of Shreveport and Leroy Moore of Tenaha sisters, Diana Hall, Gerldine Moore, Nadine Moore, Geneva Mayes Elhora Moore, Mary Jean Shepard and Luvenia Williams.  Community Funeral Home.
RUTHIE LEE NEWMAN---Ruthie Lee Newman, 83, of Deberry died February 14, 2002.   Burial was in Adams Cemetery.  Mrs. Newman was born June 11, 1918 to William Ernest and Nora Bell Avera Foster in Shelbyville.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Betty Marie Dalrymple; four brothers; and three sisters.   Mrs. Newman is survived by her son Allen Newman, Jr. of the Pines, Steve Newman of River Hill community, Jerry Newman of River Hill Community and David Newman of Biloxi, Mississippi; daughters, Brenda Gibbs of Longview, Carolyn Kuntz of Hibbing, Minnesota and Jean McDonald of Carthage.  Jimmerson Funeral Home.
REBA DELL TEMPLIN---Reba Dell Templin, 91, of Hallsville, Texas died February 14, 2002 in Longview.  Burial was in Ramah Cemetery.  Mrs. Templin was born November 14, 1910 in Shelby County to Henry T and Georgia Ritnour Conway.  She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Georgia Conway; husband E.H. Templin; daughter, Betty Ann Clark; and brother Charles, Furman and Elton Conway.  Mrs. Templin is survived by son Jim Templin of Houston John Templin of DeQuincy, Louisiana and Dan Templin of Hallsville.  Mangum Funeral Home.
CLYDE FLEMING---Clyde Fleming, 76, of Conroe, died February 12, 2002 in Conroe.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  He was born December 30, 1925 to Asa Mathew and Rebecca Vaughn Fleming in Shelby County.  He was preceded in death by his son Billy Mac Fleming.  Survivors include his wife Faye Fleming; and daughter Pam Sanders. 
JAMES L. WILLIAMS---James L. Williams, Sr. died February 14, 2002.  Burial was in Westview Cemetery.  He was born November 19, 1957 to R.T. and Mae Bell Jones Williams.   He was preceded in death by his parents R.T. and Mae Bell Williams; grandparents Jim and Della Williams; brothers R.T. Williams and Tommy Williams.  He is survived by his wife LaSandra Williams; son James L. Williams, II of Houston; daughters, Jaymee Williams of Houston, Fulisites Williams; brothers Sammy Williams of Center and John Williams of Beaumont; sisters, Della Gardner, Shirley Hewitt, Stella Williams and Sharon Williams all of Center.  Hicks Mortuary in Center.
