Collis Stephens, 84, of the Woods Community, died February 18, 2011 in Carthage, Texas. Burial was in Woods Cemetery, Panola County. He was born May 6, 1926 in Nacogdoches County to Clyde Monroe Stephens and Lena Hilliard Stephens. He served his country during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Lamar Stephens, Elmer Ray Stephens; In-laws, Clarence & Bessie Baldwin, Floyd (Dock) Watson. Survivors include, Wife, Ruth Baldwin Stephens of the Woods Community; Foster son, Danny Joe Mott & wife, Marivel of the Woods Community; Sisters, LaVerne Jackson & husband, Marshall of Lufkin, Laura Ann Renfro of Lufkin; Brother, Billy Stephens & wife, Shirley of Lufkin; Sister-in-law, Fannie Watson of Tenaha.

D. M. “Drewie” Bradshaw, 85, of Timpson, died February 17, 2011 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born January 16, 1926 in Center to Shade Thomas Bradshaw and Jessie James Walker Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II in the Philippines. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Jewel Bradshaw; Sisters, Euna Ferguson, Buna Byford. Survivors include, Wife, Olean Bradshaw of Timpson; Son, Dale Bradshaw & wife Annette of Timpson; Daughter, Faye Sigler & husband James of Center.

Rev. Leroy Moore, Sr., 70, of Tenaha, died February 17, 2011 at his residence. Burial was in St. Johns Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born December 19, 1940 to Harry Moore and Charlcie Lee Reed. Survivors include, Wife, Josephine Moore of Tenaha; Sons, Jimmy Moore of Tenaha, David Moore of Key West, Florida; Daughters, Charlcie Parker of Tenaha, Linda Williams of Wylie, Texas, Equillia Peradin of Dallas; Daughter-in-law, Tomiko Moore of Tenaha.

Nancy K. Swift, 67, of Joaquin, February 22, 2011 in Center. Burial was in Johnson Cemetery, Joaquin, Texas. She was born October 1, 1943 in Orange to Ollie Woodrow Franks and Nancy Katherine Avant Franks. She was preceded in death by, Sister, Eva Joy Dodd. Survivors include, Husband, Jerry E. Swift of Joaquin; Sons, Jeffrey Alan Swift & wife Monty of Joaquin, James Warren Swift & wife Joyce of Kirbyville; Daughter, Christy Lynn Chamberlain & husband Brode of Dayton; Brother, Roger Carroll of Magnolia; Sister, Carolyn Smith of Pasadena.

Warren G. "Chris" Christensen, 89, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Tenaha, died February 17, 2011. At the family’s request, Mr. Christensen was cremated. Burial will be in the Corley-Harrison Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas, at a later date. He was born March 13, 1922 in Tillamook, Oregon to Fred and Lucille Christensen. He had three brothers, Carrol Christensen, C Vern Christensen, Willard M. Christensen. He served his country in the armed forces during WWII. Survivors include, Wife, Fern Christensen; Daughters, Donna Jarzyna & husband Mark of Tucson, Arizona, Cheri Bradshaw & husband Allen of Arizona.
