IMER NELL VAUGHN
Imer Nell Vaughn, 87, of Huxley, died February 22, 2023.  Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born August 10, 1935 to George Fancher and Lee Ella Wilburn Fancher.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Marlie Vaughn; Parents; Brother, L. G. Fancher; in laws, Austin (Jack) Vaughn and wife Hazel Vaughn; Brothers in law, Darrell Vaughn and wife Kathern, Prentice Vaughn and wife Olga; Sisters in law, Patricia Vaughn, and Janice Moody.  Survivors include, Daughters, Kay Balkcom & husband, Roger of Joaquin, Gearline Dean & husband, Rodney of Joaquin; Sister-in-law, Marie Permenter & husband W.T.; Special friend, Janice Furlow.

MARIA DeJESUS ESCOBEDO
Maria DeJesus Escobedo, 76, of Center, Texas, died February 21, 2023, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  She was born November 3, 1946, in Coahuila, Mexico to  Arnulfo Guardiola Duarte and María de Los Ángeles Adame Serrano.  Survivors include, Husband, Manuel Escobedo; Sons, Manuel Escobedo, Arnulfo Escobedo, Armando Escobedo, Jose Fidencio Escobedo, Victor Martin Escobedo, Juan Alberto Escobedo; Daughters-in-law, Maria de Lourdes Escobedo, Blanca Escobedo.

OLLIE MAE ONTIVEROS
Ollie Mae Ontiveros, 93, of Center, Texas, died February 22, 2023, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Old Salem Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on November 21, 1929, in Center, Texas, to Audrey Scott and Zina (Fountain) Scott.  She attended Campsworth School and graduated from Center High School.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Leon Ontiveros, Jr.; Parents; Son-in-law, Eddie Stifflemire.  Survivors include, Daughter, Elane Stifflemire; Sons, Damon Leon Ontiveros, Sammy Ontiveros.

EVELYN JONES STICKLE
Evelyn Jones Stickle, 78, of Center, Texas, died February 21, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on October 17, 1944, in Clarksville, Texas, to Cecil O. ERNEST LOYD IRWIN
Ernest Loyd Irwin, 71, of Center, Texas, died February 23, 2023, in Center, Texas. DOYCE ANN MORRIS BAILEY
Doyce Ann Morris Bailey, 86, of Tenaha, Texas, died February 26, 2023, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on December 20, 1936, in Center, Texas, to Clifford Doyce Morris and Mavouryne (Grace) Morris.  She graduated from Tenaha High School with the class of 1954. She was preceded in death by, Husband, Edwin R. Bailey; Parents; Brothers, William “Bo” Morris, Robert “Bo Jack” Morris.  Survivors include, Daughter, LaRaye Ann Bailey; Loved as a daughter, Erin Johnson; Sister, Karen Cruse & husband Glenn of St. Louis, Missiouri.

RAYMOND WALLACE BLACKMON
Raymond Wallace Blackmon, 69, of Appleby, died sometime during the second week of February 2023. He was born on August 15, 1953 to Jean and Carl Blackmon. He grew up in Joaquin and attended Joaquin High School.  Survivors include, Children, Kevin Blackmon, Robin Adams; Sister, Linda Maxwell.

 

BOBBIE LOU TUTT
Bobbie Lou Tutt, 83, of Timpson, Texas, died February 18, 2023 at Garrison Nursing Home.  Interment was in Smyrna Cemetery, Timpson.  Survivors include, Children, John Tutt, Jr., James Tutt, Sr., Leda Tutt Paige; 3 Sisters.
