REBA JANUARY JAMES
Reba January James, 77, of Center, died March 1, 2010 at her residence. Her wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. She was born October 6, 1932 to Condy and Maude Evers January. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Daughters of 1812, and the Daughters of the Confederacy, where she served as an officer in each organization. She was very active in the Shelby County Historical Society and she also spent much time with the renovation of the Shelby County Court House and in research for the Shelby County Museum. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Condy & Maude January; Husband, Donald James; Grandson, Brian McDonough; Brother, Doyle January.
