The long anticipated, first annual Myers Family Reunion. Be sure and mark your calendar, May 15, 2004, starting around 10:00 am. Ramah Baptist Church, between Tenaha and Paxton, Texas. This will be an opportunity to visit with folks you probably haven't seen in years. Everyone should bring an old fashioned covered dish. All family members and friends are urged to attend. Obituaries
NORMAN VERBOSKY
   Norman Verbosky, 76, of Houston died February 27, 2004 in Houston.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  Born March 13, 1927, in Lucerne, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Robert and Stella Drowsky Verbosky.  Survivors include his wife, Peggy Boles Verbosky of Houston; daughters, Vikki Carpenter of Bayou Vista and April Box of Spring; son, Norman Verbosky II of The Woodlands.  Mangum Funeral Home.
KATHERINE LUCILLE PERKINS
   Katherine Lucille Perkins, 88, of Huxley died February 27, 2004 in Center.   Burial was in Wimberly-Rayburn Cemetery.   Born October 14, 1915, in Huxley, she was the daughter of Charles Duncan and Kate Sanford Duncan.  Ms Perkins in survived by her brother, L.L. Duncan of Huxley.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
VURY LEE FAULK MONK
   Vury Lee Faulk Monk, 91, of Texarkana, died February 28, 2004 in Texarkana.   Burial was in New Hope Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mrs. Monk was born May 31, 1912 in Center.  She was married to Walter L. Monk and he preceded her in death. Survivor include a daughter Janice Glass of Texarkana.
RUTH ALLRED POWERS
   Ruth Allred Powers, 96, of Timpson, died March 2, 2004 in Garrison.   Burial was in Blair Cemetery. Born April 15, 1907, in Nacogdoches County, she was the daughter of William Stephen and Minnie Lee Stanfield Allred.  Mrs. Powers is survived by sons, Bill Powers of Jupiter, Florida and Jim Powers of Timpson.  Taylor Funeral Home.
BETTIE R. JORDAN
   Bettie R. Jordan, 94, of Nacogdoches died March 2, 2004.  Donation was requested.  Born August 5, 1909, in the McClelland Community, she was the daughter of John Reynolds and Sally Deal Reynolds.  Mrs. Jordan leaves numerous nieces and nephews.  Mangum Funeral Home.
