Myrtle Lee Windham, 82, of Joaquin, died February 28, 2013 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Interment was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born April 14, 1930 in Shelby County to Ruffin “Buster” and Ethel McDaniel Stanley. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Doyle Windham; Daughter, Brenda Gail Williams; Brothers & Sisters, Murray Stanley, Maurice Chandler, Wayburn Stanley, Mable Dawson, Bobbie Ruth Stanley, Infant Brother, Pete Stanley, Roy Stanley, Douglas Stanley, Evie Taylor. Survivors include, Children, Anita Doylene Huddleston & husband, Gerald of Center, Jerry Dale Windham & wife, Sharon of the Paxton Community, Sherry Ethel Kilpatrick & husband, Joe of the Paxton Community, Donna Lou Green & husband, J.C. of Joaquin; Sister, Louise Lahman of Lufkin.

Sybil Powdrill Locke, 92, of Orange, died March 3, 2013 in a Private Care Facility in Orange. Interment was in Willow Grove Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born August 11, 1920 in Joaquin, Texas to Truitt Powdrill and Junie McGee Powdrill. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Vernon L. Locke; Stepmother, Maggie Powdrill. Ona Bella Ash, 96, died March 3, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Interment will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born on November 21, 1916 in Timpson, Texas to John and Viola Richards. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, John D. Ash; Sisters, Alla Mae Richards, Mary Evelyn Tilley. Survivors include, Son, John M. James “Billy Jack” Edwards, 57, of San Augustine, died February 22, 2013. He was born September 7, 1955.
