The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting March 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street. The guest speakers this month will be Chris Watlington and some of his students. They will be speaking about the history of some of the buildings on the downtown square. Everyone is invited to come out and hear this program on local history.

James Randall “Toby” Robicheaux, 64, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died January 19, 2014, in Nacogdoches. He was
born November 12, 1949, in New Iberia, Louisiana to Clarence Jack Robicheaux and Yola Louviere Robicheaux. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Carroll John Robicheaux, Kerry Michael Robicheaux. Survivors include, Sister, Joycelyn Robicheaux Todd of Sugar Land, Texas (formerly of Timpson, Texas); Brother, Ronald John “Ronnie” Robicheaux.

She was preceded in death by, Father, James Glyn Daniels; Mother, Opaline Daniels; Brother, Kenneth Clevenger, Jr.; Sister, JoAnn Estes. Survivors include, Husband, David Allen Green of Joaquin; Daughter, Amber Opaline Evans of Athens, Alabama; Sisters, Debbie Parker of Cotton Port, Louisiana, Bobbie Floyd of Tenaha, Jeanie Brunson of Dallas; Brother, Rex Allen Clevenger of Liberty.

She was born Suanne Moses on September 12, 1930 in Brenham, Texas to Theron Ellis Moses and Sue Smith Floyd Moses. The family soon moved to Center, Texas, where she and her sisters "grew up." She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husbands, Thomas Lee Roebuck, Carl Todd VanWay, Jr.; Sisters, Felicia Jo Norris, Libby Lynn McCauley. Survivors include, Children, Cynthia Roebuck Schmidt (Thomas), Carlton Freeman VanWay (Cindy), Joyce Marie VanWay, Todd Alan VanWay (Donna), and Amy VanWay Watts (Jason).
