OBITUARIES
ANNA MARY SCHOTT MOTLEY
    Anna Mary Schott Motley, 93, died March 7, 2008.  Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born April 14, 1914, in Nacogdoches she was the daughter of Frank Sebastian and Anna Amelia Schott.  Ms. Motley was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Howard Smith Motley, Sr.; Brothers, Francis J. Schott, D.V.M. and Eugene Schott.  Survivors include Children Anna Lou Motley Nix of Arlington, Howard S. Motley, Jr. of Victoria, Schott Motley, Jack Motley, Polly Motley of Stowe Vermont, Mary Martha Motley of Port Lavaca.  Rosewood Funeral Home. Victoria.
GLADIES REED SAMUELS
    Gladies Reed Samuels, 67, of Tenaha died February 29, 2008 in Tenaha.  Burial was in St. John Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born July 27, 1940, in Bossier City, Louisiana, she was the daughter of M. T. and Ada B. Reed.  Ms. Samuels was in the teaching profession.  She was preceded in death by husband Charlie Thomas Samuels, III; Sisters, Lizzie Mae Moblin, Eddie Mae Dorsey and Tericia  Ann Reed; brothers, Only Reed and Robert Reed.  Survivors include daughter, Sonia Yvette Samuels, Commetrice Patrice Samuels; Son, Kelvin Thomas Samuels; Brother, Dennis Ray Reed; Sisters, Denise Robertson, Donna Kay Reed. Hicks Mortuary.
K. P. HANDY
   K. P. Handy, 78, died February 26, 2008.  Burial was in Ashton Hill Cemetery.  Born November 23, 1929  He was the son of Jim Handy.  Mr. Handy was preceded in death by Brothers, J. D. Handy, W. H. Handy and Bertis Handy, Sr.; Sister, Mary Pitts; Daughter, Carolyn Mosby.  Survivors include Sons, Oliver L. Handy of Athens, Richard R. Handy of Ft. Worth; Sister, Mildren Wilburn of Logansport, Louisiana.  Community Funeral Home.
LENA MAE MCCOLLISTER
    Lena Mae McCollister, 59, died February 8, 2008.  Burial was in Carroll Cemetery.  Born May 29, 1949 in Center, she was the daughter of Sambo and Georgia McCollister.  Ms. McCollister was preceded in death by husband Hilton Lee Polley; daughter, Darlene McCollister ; Son, Patrick Polley; Brother, Robert Earl McCollister; Sisters, Dessie McCollister, Cressie Mae Hester, Eddie Mae McCollister.  Survivors include daughters, Aretha McCollister of Center and Stephanie Polley Windom of Nacogdoches. Community Funeral Home.
ONEITA LATIMER
    Oneita Latimer, 83, died March 11, 2008 in Beaumont.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Shelby County.  Survivirs include Husband Harold Latimer of Beaumont and Son Kenneth Latimer of Houston.
