The long anticipated, first annual Myers Family Reunion. Be sure and mark your calendar, May 15, 2004, starting around 10:00 am. Ramah Baptist Church, between Tenaha and Paxton, Texas. This will be an opportunity to visit with folks you probably haven't seen in years. Everyone should bring an old fashioned covered dish. All family members and friends are urged to attend. BILLY REX HOWARD
   Billy Rex Howard, 70, died March 5, 2004.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Mr. Howard was born August 26, 1933, in Center.  He is survived by his wife Linda Howard; daughter, Shannan Jones. 
JAMES E. JACKSON
  James E. Jackson, 81, of Joaquin died March 11, 2004 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Jackson Cemetery.  Born August 1, 1922, in Shelby County, he was the son of Thomas L. and Oma Jackson.  Mr. Jackson was married to Tina Jackson, and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include sisters, Adelle Anthony of Center and Lucille Hughes of Joaquin.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
AILEEN ENGLISH CORBELL
   Aileen English Corbell, 90, of Shelbyville died March 13, 2004 in Shelbyville.  Burial was in West Hamilton Cemetery.  Born July 20, 1913, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Albert R. and Mary Ruthie Raymond English.  Mrs. Corbell was married to Perry Corbell, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include daughter, Wilma Campbell of Center; sons, Gordon Corbell of Shelbyville, Gerald Corbell Sr. of San Augustine and Billy Jack Corbell of Huxley; sister, Bernita Payne of LaPlace, Louisiana.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home
ROY EMMETT CONWAY
   Roy Emmett Conway, 68, of Timpson died March 14, 2004 in Timpson.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.   Born September 13, 1935, in Tenaha, he was the son of Preston and Rita Hillen Conway.  Mr. Conway is survived by his daughter, Cheyanne Conway of Nacogdoches; sons, Eddie Conway and Roy Glen Conway, both of Lufkin; brother, W.Odell Conway of Nacogdoches; sisters, Lyndal Zezulka of Houston, Presteen Weaver of Caldwell, Sara Nut of San Antonio, Florence Odom of Victoria and Jimmie Lovell of Bossier City, Louisiana.   Taylor Funeral Home.
JOHNYNE P. BOUNDS
  Johnyne P. Bounds, 91, of Center died March 13, 2004 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born January 29, 1913, in Many, Louisiana, she was the daughter of George Wesley and Zephia Mae West Phillips.   Mrs. Bounds was married to Morris Bounds, and he preceded her in death.   Survivors include daughters, Laura Rainbolt and Margaret Ihlo, both of Center; son, Walter "Buster" Bounds of Center; brother Francis Phillips; sister, Margaret Purswell and Ruth Gleason.  Mangum Funeral Home.
WILLIS SIMS HOWARD, JR.
   Willis Sims Howard, Jr., 68, died February 3, 2004 in Houston.  Burial was in Old Union Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas.  Born October 2, 1935, in Tenaha, he was the son of Willis and Mamie Howard.  Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his parents Willis and Mamie Howard and daughter Sunday Eve Howard.   Survivors are is wife Joyce Howard of Humble, Texas; daughters, Sheryl Lynn Graves of lake Murvaul, Cunthia Lynette Burgess of Huffman, Texas, Kristal Dawn Ramsey of Spring, Texas, Felysha Nicole Howard and Shawana Leda Howard, both of Houston; sons, Willis Sims Howard, III of Humble and Bradley Stephen Hurley of Conroe, Texas; brother, Lee Howard of Conroe Texas. 
MARGIE YARBROUGH
   Margie Yarbrough, 64, of Center died March 11, 2004 in Nacogdoches.   Burial was in Westview Cemetery.   Born March 23, 1939, in Center, she was the daughter of Elzie and Ethel Smith.   Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Ethel Smith; daughter, Sonya Yarbrough and son, Dexter Yarbrough.  Survivors include husband, Jim Yarbrough; daughter, Judy Yarbrough of Tyler, Juantonio Yarbrough of Ruston, Louisiana; sisters, and brothers, Maxine Bennett Margie Bennett, Gloria Pettigrew, Charles Henry Smith, all of Center.  Hicks Mortuary.
SAMMIE SMITH
   Sammie Smith, 72, of Huxley died march 15, 2004 in Huxley.  Burial was in Carroll Cemetery.  Born September 13, 1931, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Addin Harold and Fern McMahan Smith.  Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Marcelle Smith of Huxley; sons, Stephen Smith of Center and Larry Smith of Huxley; daughter, Rhonda Smith of Huxley; mother, Fern Strickland of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
JOE ED BROWN
   Joe Ed Brown, 48, died March 10, 2004.  Burial was in McWilliams Cemetery.  Born December 18, 1955, in Carthage, he was the son of John L. and Alice Brown.  Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Marie Sparks Brown; son, ConQuista Brown; father, John L. Brown; mother, Alice Brown and sisters, Bessie Bowers and Bobbie. Survivors include his children, Joenika Yarbrough, DeShawa Brown, Catrena Cartwright, Timothy Sparks, Kiffany Brown, Andres Brown, Justen Brown and Patience Brown.  Community Funeral Home.
BURT DUNAHOE
   Burt Dunahoe, 74, of Bridge City, died March 9, 2004 in Orange.  Burial was in Lone Cedar Cemetery, Shelby County.   Mr. Dunahoe was born March 29, 1929.  Survivors include wife, Patsy Dunahoe; son, Terry Dunahoe; daughters, Debra Dunahoe, all of Bridge City and Susan Buscher of Winnie; sister, Berta Bowen of Cleveland. 
O. L. HOOPER
  O. L. "Buddy" Hooper, 75, of Keithville, Louisiana, died March 18, 2004, in Shreveport.  Burial was in Wimberly-Rayburn Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born August 7, 1928, in Joaquin, he was the son of John J. and Nora Russell Hooper.  Mr. Hooper is survived by sisters, Cleo H. Coe of Shreveport and Ruth H. Grayson of Joaquin; and brother Glynn Hooper of Shreveport, Louisiana.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
FLETA POTTS THOMASON
   Fleta Potts Thomason, 94, of Center died March 18, 2004 in Center.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.   Born September 7, 1909, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of William Calvin and Lou A. Sinclair Potts.  Ms. Thomason was married to Allen Thomason, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son, Billy Bob Thomason and one grandchild.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home
