Charles Edward "Buster" Williams, 69, died March 12, 2013, in Sabine County. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Nacogdoches to Carl Alvin Williams and Lula Lightle Williams. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Robert Williams. He was born December 21, 1930 in Shelby County to Alvie and Cassie Fleming O’Rear. Mr. O’Rear served his country in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. Emma Rose Landry Hicks, 84, died March 18, 2013. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Pasadena, Texas. She was born on January 12, 1929 in Crowley, Louisiana to Obre Landry and Evelyn Faulk Landry. She and her husband, Oly Hicks, lived in Center before he passed away. Then, Rose moved back to La Porte about 10 years ago to be near family.
