Carlos Booth, 48, of Center, died March 20, 2023.  Interment was in Liberty Cemetery, Joaquin.  Survivors include, Wife, Wyesa Booth of Center; Mother, Betty Session of Center; Father, Cleveland Booth of Center; Sons, Carlos Booth of Center, Jerome Ratcliff of Shelbyville, Mekhi Caraway of Center, Cory Wilson of Center; Daughters, Tynae Swindle of Shelbyville, Shymone Ratcliff of Center, KoNeisha Ratcliff of Center, Ne’Kenzee Caraway of Center; Sisters, Aretha Garrett of Center, Angela Booth of Center, Aluina Cartwright of Shelbyville, Sheena Norris of Center; God Sister, Sophia Cartwright of Center; Brothers-in-law, DeNorris Blackshire of Timpson, Rodney Swindle of Shelbyville.

O. B. FURLOW
O. B. (Bert) Furlow, 92, died March 24, 2023.  Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born in Huxley, Texas, on September 30, 1930 to Emmitt and Levell Dean Furlow. He served his country in the Marine Corps from February 1952 to February 1954. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Clovis, James, and Milton Furlow; Daughter-in-law, Toletha Harrington Furlow; Brother-in-law, Larry Scarborough; Sister-in-law, Joan Furlow.  Survivors include, Wife, Janice Furlow; Daughter, Annette Jernigan & husband Jody; Son, Mike Furlow & wife Pam; Sister, Mozell Scarborough; Sisters-in-law, Helen Furlow, Mae Furlow.

DARRELL LYNN SANFORD
Darrell Lynn Sanford, 67, of Center, Texas, died March 26, 2023, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on January 26, 1956, in Center, Texas, to Clarence E. Sanford and Sondia Windham Sanford.  He graduated from Center High School Class of 1974.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Father and Mother in law, Fred and Loyce Johnson.  Survivors include, Wife, Pamela Sanford; Sons, Scott Christopher Sanford & wife Jenny, Kirk Bradley Sanford & wife Kelli.

KENNETH PRINCE
Kenneth Prince, 64, of Timpson will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Bro. Fred Wilcox officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10-11am prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County.. Kenneth is survived by: Wife, Renee Anderson Prince; Sons, Derick Prince & wife, April, Dakota Bar, Nathan Bar and fiance’ Shannen Moates, Blake Prince.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Newton Prince and Betty Jean Youngblood Prince and his sister, Cindy Ramsey.

CLARENCE GENE DENBY
Clarence Gene Denby, 67, of Etoile, Texas, died March 28, 2023, in Lufkin, Texas. Interment was in West Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on April 9, 1955, in Hemphill, Texas, to Henry Lamar Denby and Frances White Denby.

CHERYL JEAN FINDLEY-JOINER
Cheryl Jean Findley-Joiner, 68, of Katy, Texas, died March 28, 2023, at her home. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on April 20, 1954, in Houston, Texas to Walter and Maycel ImoJean Bosman.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Siblings, Gloria Jean Peterson, Bettye Dean, Gary Bosman, Walter Bosman Jr., and Ellen Carter.  Survivors include, Husband, Buck; Daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Justin Collins of Berryton, Kansas, Daughter, Sherri Jo Brier of Brenham, Texas, Daughter, Rachael Beseda of Fayetteville, Texas; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Joiner of Houston, Texas; Stepson, Richard Joiner.

JOHN HENRY RAINES, JR.

John Henry Raines, Jr., 82, of Timpson, Texas, died March 26, 2023, in Garrison, Texas.  Interment was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  He was born on June 27, 1940, in Caledonia, Texas, to John Henry and Dollie Mae (Durrett) Raines.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Sara Nell Raines; Son, Wayne Hooker; Sisters, Lorene Chandler, Lerlene Raines.  Survivors include, Daughters, Johnica Raines & Jason Morton, Brenda Mackey & husband, Charles, Pam Hendricks & Bruce Windham; Bonus daughter, Paula Mullins; Brother, Buck Raines.


 

 

DAVID LILLY
David Lilly, 68, of Stockman Community, died March 29, 2023 in Tyler.  Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was preceded in death by, Parents, Orren and Aliene Lilly; Brother, Dean Lilly.  Survivors include, Siblings, Danny Lilly, Dennis Lilly & wife, Patty, Dorinda “Lulu” Warren.
