OBITUARIES
FELIX "BEAR KAT" PARTIN
     Felix Partin, 75, of Center died March 27, 2008 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born July 22, 1932, in San Augustine he was the son of Felix Smith Partin, Sr. and Virgie Caroline Berry Partin.  Mr. Partin was preceded in death by his Parents, Felix and Virgie Partin; Brother, Clark Partin; Sister, Johnnie Spies.  Survivors include, Wife, Sue Partin of Center; Daughters, Lynnelle McElroy of Center, Annette Peters of Center; Sister Margie Kilpatrick of San Antonio.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home. 
GEORGE MARTIN MCLENDON
     George Martin McLendon, 92, of Kerrville, formerly of Center, died March 31, 2008 in Kerrville.  Burial was in Spann Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born October 18, 1915, he was the son of Martin Bartow and Carrie Smithson McLendon.  Mr. McLendon was one of the last survivors of the CCC Co. 880.  He was preceded in death by wife, Susie Eaves McLendon; Daughter, Evelyn Ann Morris; Brother, Lucy McLendon Lee.  Survivors include, Daughters, Lou Nell Jones, Willie Lowery Bunting; Sister, Mattie McLendon Dellinger Becky Maidic; and Best Pal, German Shepherd, "Stryker."  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
J. HUGH BAILEY
    J. Hugh Bailey, 93, of Center died March 31, 2008 in Center.  Burial was in Short Cemetery.   Born August 14, 1914, in Center, he was the son of James Ed Bailey and Lellar Byford Bailey.  Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by son, Hugh Gene Bailey.  Survivors include Johnnie B. Bailey of Center; Sons, Jerry Barlow and Bobby Barlow, both of Center; Daughter, Lillian Williams of Dallas.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SONYA FINCHER
    Sonya Fincher, 40, of Shelbyville died April 1, 2008 in Tenaha.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born February 1968, she was the daughter of Bobby Holloway and Barbara Davis.  Survivors include Husband, Keith Fincher of Shelbyville; daughter, Shanal Fincher of Shelbyville; Father Bobby "Jack" Holloway of Center; Brothers, Steven Holloway of Logansport and Mitchell Holloway of Tenaha; Sisters Angie Clark of Center and Brandi Sanders of Tenaha.  Mangum Funeral Home.

CLARA HOLMES
    Clara Holmes, 70, of Center died April 1, 2008.  Burial was in Joaquin Cemetery.  Born December 22, 1937, she was the daughter of John T and Era Cox Holloway Survivors include Sisters, Irene Yancy of Houston, Louise Worsham of Joaquin and Ever Anderson of Parkston, South, Dokota. JIMMIE LOUISE BOLES
    Jimmie Louise Boles, 69, of Center died March 31, 2008 in Center.  Burial was in Oakland Memorial Park.  Born September 14, 1938, in Center, she was the daughter of James E. Nail and Hazel Doris Sowell Nail.  Ms. Boles was employed with Ivan Smith Furniture.  Survivors include Daughters, Lisa McAdams of Center, Sheila Harris of Center; Sister, Diane Nail of Center.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home. 
ADAM HEADY
    Adam Heady, 20, of Center died April 1, 2008 in vehicle accident.  Burial was in Powdrill Cemetery.  Born April 11, 1987, in Center, he was the son of Denny Lee Heady and Rose Mary Soto.  Survivors include Mother and Step-Father Rose and Mike Mangrum; Brother, Harold Heady of Center; Sister, Danielle Heady of Center; Stepbrother Michael Mangrum of Center. RAMON SOTO, JR.
   Ramon Soto, Jr.  22, died April 1, 2008 in vehicle accident. Burial was in Powdrill Cemetery. Born March 26, 1986, in Center, he was the son of Ramon Soto and Patti Jackson Soto.  Survivors include Wife, Elizabeth Soto of Tenaha; Daughter, Isabel Soto of Tenaha; Father and Step-mother Ramon and Yvonne Soto of San Antonio; Sisters, Kerri Ann Perez of Birmingham, Alabama, Jayme Leah Soto of Tonka City, Oklahoma and Ashley Alvidrez and Bonnie Roe Soto, both of San Antonio.  Burial in same grave as son Ramon Soto, III.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
RAMON SOTO, III
    Ramon Soto, III. 2, of Tenaha died April 1, 2008 in vehicle accident.  Burial was in Powdrill Cemetery, in same grave as father Ramon Soto, Jr.  Born May 9, 2005, he was the son of Ramon Soto, Jr. and Elizabeth Mendoza Soto.  Survivors include Mother, Elizabeth Soto of Tenaha; Sister, Isabel Soto of Tenaha.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
FOREST BROWN BROADWAY
    Forest Brown Broadway, 78, of Timpson died April 2, 2008 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson.  Born February 8, 1930, in Brownfield, Texas, he was the son of Sam J. and Della J. Allen Broadway.  Mr. Broadway served in the U.S. Army during the koeran war and was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans.  He was preceded in death by Parents; Brothers, Cole Broadway, Hugh Broadway.  Survivors include wife, Charlotte Boles Broadway of Timpson, Son, Tracy Broadway of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Christi Smith of Timpson; Brothers, Ted Broadway of Channelview, Texas and Guy Broadway, who died on April 3, 2008; Sister, Maggie Jo Foulch of Houston.  Taylor Funeral Home. 
LONNIE BUCKNER
    Lonnie Buckner, 71, of Shelbyville died April 3, 2008 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Buckner Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born May 4, 1936, he was the son of Joseph and Lillie Buckner.  Mr. Buckner was retired from Bruce Hardwood.  He was preceded in death by Parents Joseph and Lillie Buckner.  Survivors include Wife, Brenda Burkhalter Buckner of Center.
