"The 31st annual Leo and Ada McSwain Memorial Family Reunion will be held in Colmesneil Texas at the McSwain "lakehouse" on  Saturday, May 24, 2008.  This reunion was started in 1978 by the children of Leo and Ada McSwain and has been held in Colmesneil ever since. The living children of Leo and Ada are Norma George, Odell Hart, and E.C. McSwain. There will be family, food, pictures, and family info. OBITUARIES
RACHEL HICKSON
    Rachel Hickson, 69, of Timpson died April 3, 2008 at her residence.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born May 10, 1938, in Houston, she was the daughter of Manuel Blos Dixon and Era Selanybelle Brazail Dixon.  Survivors include Husband, Lee Hickson of Timpson; Daughters, Janet Lee Travathian of Trinity and Teresa Fay Johnson of Corrigan; Sister, Kathleen Wren; Brother, Manuel Blos Dixon, Jr. Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
JEAN FLOURNOY
    Jean Flournoy, 75, of Timpson died April 6, 2008 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Folsom Chapel Cemetery.  Born May 28, 1932, in Folsom Chapel Community, she was the daughter of Ernest T. and Thelka Owens Burghs.  Ms. Flournoy was a Homemaker.  Survivors include, Husband, Paul Lee Flournoy of Timpson; Sons, Paul Edward Flournoy of Singelton and Jeff Flournoy of McKinney; Daughter, Kay Polk of Fairview; Brother Zane Bourghs, Bob Bourghs, Charles Bourghs and K. B. Broughs; Sisters, Verlie Schwartz and Lynn Villerman.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ROSE LEE HINES
    Rose Lee Hines, 81, of Timpson died April 8, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Cremation was requested.  Born January 22, 1927, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Sloan Monroe.  Survivors include Husband, Dwight Hines of Timpson; Daughters, Judy Carol Gonzales of Longview, Kathryn Marie Hines of Vivian, Louisiana and Brenda Ann LaFitte of Blanchard, Louisiana; Sons, Troy W. Cook of Keithville, Louisiana, Terry Benjamin of Arkansas and Kenneth W. Hines of Houghton, Louisiana.  Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson.
LARRY GIBBS
    Larry Gibbs, 57, died April 8, 2008 in Center.  Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery.  Born February 28, 1951, in Shelby County, he was the son of George K and Lillie E. Taylor Gibbs.  Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Gene Gibbs and Kenneth Gibbs.  Survivors include Son, Larry Gibbs, Jr. of Tenaha; Daughters, Jenny Hicks of Tenaha and Jamie Williford of Timpson; Brothers, George Gibbs of Timpson, John Gibbs of Gary, Billy Joe Gibbs of Carthage; Daughter, Peggy Montez Adams of New Braunfels, Texas.  Mangum Funeral Home.

JERAL D. BRYCE
    Jeral D. Bryce, 78, of Henderson, died April 9, 2008 in Marshall.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born September 11, 1918, he was the son of James Amos and Winnie B. Johnson Bryce.  Mr. Bryce was preceded in death by Parents; Sister, Vida Mae Chaney; and Brother, Adlee Bryce.  Survivors include Son, Brandon Bryce of Marshall.
