I am searching for information on the SHEPHERD (SHEPHEARD) family in Shelby County, Texas.  Any informaion on Cecelia (Celia) Willis Towns Shepherd who moved to Texas from Wilkes County, Georgia in the 1870's to 1890's and her decendents would be greatly appreciated.  I am very willing to share my information on her, her first husband and her ancestors who lived in Georgia. INIS CHANDLER---Inis Chandler, 81, of Diboll,   died April 5, 2002 at her residence.  Burial was in White Oak Cemetery, Shelby County. Born February 11, 1921, in San Augustine County, she was the daughter of Della Dillard and Marvin Battles.  She was preceded in death by her infant son , Billy Ray Chandler and her husband Hollis Chandler.  She is survived by daughter, Linda Hendry of Houston; sons, Jerry Chandler and Bobby Chandler, both of Diboll; sister,  Thelma Brackhan of Nebraska; brohters D.L. Battles of Center, J. L. Battles of Nacogdcohes, Clayton Battles of Henderson and Franklin D. Battles of Tyler.  Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home
BETTY LU ADAMS WEDGEWORTH--Betty Lu Adams Wedgeworth, 73, of Houston, formerly of Timpson, died April 6, 2002 in Tomball Nursing Home.  Burial was in Corinth Cemetery, Timpson.  Born December 29, 1928, in Gary, she was the daughter of J.H. and Anabel Heaton Adams.  She was preceded in death by her husband Angy Delma Wedgeworth.   She is survived by son Andy J. Wedgeworth of Houston; daughter, Angela Benefield of Houston; brothers, Robert Mondee Adams of Carthage and Roy W. Adams of Houston;   Taylor Funeral Home.
JO DALE HARVEY---Jo Dale Harvey, 39, of Joaquin died April 10, 2002 in Shelby Regional Hospital.  She requested a donation.  Born May 18, 1962, in Center, she was the daugher of Tommie Lee Harvey.   Survivors include mother, Tommie Lee Harvey of Center; husbnad G.C. Meyers of Joaquin; sons, Danny Ray Harvey, Steven Ray Harvey and Bobby Joe Harvey, all of Joaquin; brothers Jay Harvey of Center, Everett Harvey of Amarillo and Bobby Harvey of Joaquin; sisters, Jo Ann Spinks, Linda Harvey and Sherry Ross, all of Joaquin and Dorothy Weir and Mary Coody, both of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
FRANK ALAN PARKER---Frank Alan Parker, 46, of Tenaha, died April 9, 2002 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born April 13, 1955, in Shelby County, he was the son of Franklin Burns and LaFaye Bailey Parker.   Survivors include his wife, Brenda Parker of Tneaha; daughter, Danielle Parker of Tenaha; sons, Frank Parker II of Tenaha and Brad Alan Parker of Houston; mother, LaFaye Parker of Tenaha; and brother, William Robert Parker of Tenaha.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
