            The 30th annual Leo and Ada McSwain Memorial Family Reunion will be held in Colmesneil Texas at the McSwain "lakehouse" on Saturday, May 26, 2007.  This reunion was started in 1978 by the children of Leo and Ada McSwain and has been held in Colmesneil ever since. The living children of Leo and Ada are Norma George, Odell Hart, and E.C. McSwain. There will be family, food, pictures, and family info. MARTHA SUE CRAYNE BILLINGSLEY
    Martha Sue Crayne Billingsley, 73, of Tatum died April 7, 2007 at her residence. Cremation was requested.  Born January 7, 1934, in Ptescott Nevada County, Arkansas.  Survivors include husband Burl Billingsley of Tatum; Daughter Christine Roberts of Tatum; Sister, Florine Wilson of Little Rock, Arkansas. 
BOBBY BARBEE
    Bobby Barbee, 53, of Shelbyville, died April 10, 2007.  Burial was in Short Cemetery.  Born April 12, 1953 in Short Community, he was the son of  Archie Barbee and Faye Deason Barbee.  Mr. Barbee was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Fay Barbee; Brother, William Marshall Barbee.  Survivors include wife, Sharon Barbee of Shelbyville; Son, Adam Barbee of Center and Logan Barbee of Shelbyville; Daughter, Kristy Barbee of Houston; Sisters Barbara McDonald of Garrison JoAnn Rushing of Center, Vickie Snider of Huxley Linda Faye Cougler of Center, Rhonda Holloway Carolyn Harkness, both of Center; Brothers, John Barbee, Archie Barbee, Ricky Barbee Daniel Ray Barbee, all of Center and Donald Barbee of Logansport.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ERSEL MAE CHUMLEY MCCLELLAND
    Ersel Mae Chumley McClelland, 89, of Orange died April 9, 2007.  Burial was in Rather Cemetery.  Survivors include daughter, Lillie Joe Richards of Orange and Sister Vernie Chumley of Center.  Hicks Mortuary.
WILLIAM MCNEESE
    William McNeese, 77, of Huxley "Harvey's Landing" died April 9, 2007.  Burial was in Wimberly-Rayburn Cemetery. Born December4 11, 1929, in Dallas, he was the won of William Oscar McNeese and Irene Furlow McNeese; wife, Margaret McNeese.  Mr. McNeese was a Butcher, Baker and Chef in the Military and owned and operated several restaurants.  He was a veteran of Korean War.  He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Irene McNeese.  Survivors include Brother, Jerry McNeese of Jal, New Mexico; sister, Carol Williams of Breckenridge, Texas. Step Children, Gary Gilbert of Ohio and Rev. Billy Gilbert of Sweeny.  Mangum Funeral Home.
ONEITA VAUGHN
   
Oneita, Vaughn, 85, of Huxley, died April 8, 2007 at her residence.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery.   Born December 13, 1921, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Hearn and Nettie Eddins Brittain.  Mrs. Vaught was taught school in Liberty, Eddins, Strong and Brown's Chapel Schools.  Survivors include husband, Jake Vaughn of Huxley; Daughter, Lynette Vaughn of Huxley; stepdaughter, Margaret Cockrell of Joaquin; Sister, Marjorie Lundy of Austonio; Brother, Ben Brittain of Beech Grove Community.  Mangum Funeral Home.
MARY LOUISE GRIGGS
    Mary Louise Griggs, 86, died April 9, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Mrs. Griggs was born June 8, 1921, in Waxahachie, Texas.  Survivors include, Daughters, Nancy Perry of Center, Debra Carroll of Joaquin and Cathy Conway of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
MINNIE ESTELLE HUCKABAY
    Minnie Estelle Huckabay, 93, died April 7, 2007 in Alamo, Texas.  Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery.   Born September 13, 1913, she was the daughter of David and Minnie Sellers Perkins.  Mrs. Huckabay was preceded in death by her Parents, husband James Udell Huckabay and son James David Huckabay.  Survivors include, daughter, Shirley Smith of Almo, Texas; Sister Lillian Crump of Timpson.  Mangum Funeral Home.
KATY BROWN MAXIN
    Katy Brown Maxin 78, died April 8, 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial was in ???????.  Mrs. Maxin was preceded in death by her parents Ike Brown and Eunice Brown; brother, Jack Brown and Sister, Margaret Brown.  Survivors include sons, Mike Wood of Texas City, Texas, Danny Crawford of Center; daughters, Diane D'Asaro of Conyers, Georgia, Wanda Faye Suarez of Houston, Jerry Porter of Pasadena, Texas, Ann Maxin of Nacogdoches, and Leslie Blacksher of Nacogdoches.  Mangum Funeral Home
