BESSIE MAE THOMAS HANNA
Bessie Mae Thomas Hanna, 83, formerly of Joaquin, died April
9, 2009, in Houston, Texas, of an apparent heart attack. Bessie Mae was
born April 13, 1925 in Joaquin, Texas to Mary Agnes Fuller Thomas &
Jesse Ezekiel Thomas. She graduated from Joaquin High School in 1942.
She left Joaquin immediately after graduation to go to Ann Arbor,
Michigan to build Bombers for the war effort. Returning to Texas in
1943, she later moved to Houston, Texas, where she lived until her
death. Survivors include, Children, Newburn W. Hanna & wife Melba of
Houston, Kathy Ann Giannotti & husband David of Los Angeles, Ca.,
Kenneth Wayne Hanna & wife of Corpus Christi, Texas; Brother, Herschel
Thomas & wife Doris of The Woodlands, Texas; Brother-in-law, Monroe E.
Doster of Houston; Sister-in-law, Shirley Thomas of Nashville,
