MILDRED PAULINE SHOLMIRE
   Mildred Pauline Sholmire, 85, of Dreka Community, died April 25, 2003.   Burial was in Duncan Cemetery.  Born March 25, 1918, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Jessie Childress Wash.  Ms. Sholmire was married to Buford Sholmire, and he preceded her in death.   Survivors include daughters, Janice Furlow of Huxley and Carol Gilliland of Tyler; son, Bob Sholmire of Huxley.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
FRANCIS ELIZABETH MOORE
   Francis Elizabeth Moore, 70, of Tenaha died April 28, 2003.  Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery.  Born February 17, 1933, in Timpson, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Mary Cozart Mims.  Ms. Moore was married to Murry Moore and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son, John Emmett Moore of Tenaha; brother, John Mims, Jr. of Timpson; sisters, Lorene McIntyre of Timpson, Marian Gentry of Timpson, Joyce Smith of Center and Olga Hughes of Timpson.  Taylor Funeral Home.
RICHARD FALLON
   Richard Fallon, 72, of Tenaha, died April 28, 2003 in Center.  Burial was in Salem Cemetery, Rusk County.  born May 7, 1930, in Hartford, Conn., he was the son of Walter and Mary Layman Fallon.  Mr. Fallon is survived by his wife, Marlan Fallon of Tenaha; son, Richard Fallon, Jr. of Lucerne, California; daughters, Valerie Fallon, Kathleen Fallen, both of Santa Rosa, California and Jennie Fallon of New Haven, Conn; Step-children, Tamara Rossitto, Deanna Parr both of Santa Rosa, California, Christina Smith of Forrestville, California, Angelina Frische and Rhonda Hall, both of Windsor, California.  Mangum Funeral Home.
LUCILLE RUTH CARRINGTON
   Lucille Ruth Carrington, 67, of Shelby County, died April 22, 2003. Burial was in Rather Cemetery.  Born August 1, 1935, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Eddie and Weder Land Ruth.  Mrs. Carrington is survived by son, Kevin of Orange; Daughter, LaShandra Crowell of Spouth Korea; sister, Theora Villery of Orange.  Hicks Morturary.
ANGE LEE JANUARY
   Ange Lee January, 79, of Center died April 29, 2003 in Center.  Burial was in Mt. Herman Cemetery.  Born August 19, 1923, in Center, she was the daughter of Samuel Lonnie and Emmitt Peace January.  Ms. January is survived by Special friends, Elton and Ruth Fenley of Center; and cousins, Wanda Ramsey and Reba James, both of Center and  Ruby and Charlie Kammerdiener of Bossier City, Louisiana. WINTHROP J. DAY
   Winthrop J. Day, 76, of Center died April 29, 2003 in Nacogdoches.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born June 2, 1926, in Sturgis, South Dakota, he was the son of George Howe and Stella Jane Page Day.  Mr. day is survived by his wife Alberta Day of Center; daughter, Cynthia Bird of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.

   Mildred Alene Hill, 72, of Daingerfield died April 28, 2003 in Tyler.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Ms. Hill was born August 26, 1930, in Bonaham.  She is survived by daughters, Pat Haley of Longview and Melba Hill of Houston; son, Mike Hill of Royce City; sister, Bobby Cox of Bonoham; brothers, Loyd Carroll of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Floyd Carroll of Cleburne and Steve Carroll of Ravenna.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
LEONARD L. EVANS
   Leonard L. Evans, 82, of Center died April 29, 2003.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born September 15, 1920, in Baird, he was the son of Roger Q. and Gene Elizabeth Lambert Evans.  Mr. Evans was married to Audrie Boyd Evans and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include daughter, Suzanne Whitney of Center; sister, Maureen McFarland of Grandbury.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MURL ROGER JACKSON
   Murl Roger Jackson, 64, of Center died May 1, 2003 in Nacogdoches.   Burial was in Lone Cedar Cemetery. Born February 28, 1939, he was the son of William Henry and Viola Deason Jackson.  Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Kathryn Anthony Jackson of Center; son, Roger Jackson of Center; daughter, Cindy Sholar of Shelbyville; stepdaughters, Denis Shofner and Kim Mitchell, both of Shelbyville and Sherry Goodwin of Dallas; stepson. James Anthony of Shelbyville; brothers, Billy Joe Jackson, Douglas Jackson and Beck Jackson, all of Center, Gene Jackson of Trinity, Don Jackson and Jimmy Jackson, both of Shelbyville.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SAMUEL BIRDINE
   Samuel Birdine, 88, died April 22, 2003.  Burial was in Friendship Bobo Cemetery.  Boran August 4, 1914, he was the son of Dave and Rhoda Birdine.  Mr. Burdine is survived by daughter, Shirley Birdine of Dallas; son, Billy Ray Birdine of Dallas.  Community Funeral Home.
GLENIS V. GOODMAN
   Glenis V. Goodsman, 79, of Jefferson died April 27, 2003 in Jefferson.   Burial was in Latham Cemetery.  Born November 1, 1923, in the Dreka Community, she was the daughter of Floyd B and Florence McMann Beck.  Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Hulon Beck and sisters, Marguerite Beck LaSalle and Sallie Beck.  She is survived by sons, James Allen Burk of Jefferson, Kyle J. Goodman of Springhill, Louisiana and Kelly L. Goodman of Shreveport, Louisiana; daughter, Kimberly G. Moore of Bennettsville, South Carolina.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
BESSIE MAE THOMAS
   Bessie Mae Thomas, 72, of Center died April 1, 2003.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  She was the daughter of Mattie Nash and T.B. Yarbrough.  Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband Johnie Thomas; parents, Mattie Nash and T.B. Yarbrough.  Survivors include son Wayne Thomas of Tenaha; sister, Emma Gatlin; brothers, Tom Yarbrough of Seattle, Washington, Bruce Yarbrough and Gilbert Yarbrough, both of Dallas.  Community Funeral Home.
ALBERTA C. WASHINGTON
   Alberta C. Washington, 98, died April 13, 2003.  Burial was in St. John Cemetery in Center.  Born November 13, 1904, she was the daughter of Eddie and Roxie Coleman.  Ms. Washington was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Roxie Coleman; husbands, Roy Jones and Willie R. Washington.  She is survived by children George E. Washington of Dallas, Albertene Jackson, Mae Washington and Wilma Washington, all of Houston, W.
