James William “Jimmy” Hopkins, 64, of Timpson, Texas, died May 01, 2012. He was born May 17, 1947, in Austin, Texas to Selmer Elmer “Blacky” Hopkins and Leoma Powers Hopkins. Jimmy served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by, Father, Selmer Elmer “Blacky” Hopkins; Stepfather, “Goat” Neill; Brother, Gene Hopkins; Sister, Bobbie Lynn Neill.
