New Stuff/Additions/Corrections

            The 30th annual Leo and Ada McSwain Memorial Family Reunion will be held in Colmesneil Texas at the McSwain "lakehouse" on Saturday, May 26, 2007.  This reunion was started in 1978 by the children of Leo and Ada McSwain and has been held in Colmesneil ever since. The living children of Leo and Ada are Norma George, Odell Hart, and E.C. McSwain. There will be family, food, pictures, and family info.     The fourth MYERS FAMILY REUNION will be Saturday June 9, 2007 in the fellowship hall at Ramah Baptist Church. Bring a covered dish for lunch and plan on staying all day. Obituaries

MARY BERWALD
    Mary Berwald, 83, of Center died May 13, 2007 in Center.  Cremation was requested.  Born June 15, 1924, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of John Nelson Warlick and Helen Chitty Warlick.  She is survived by nephews and nieces. 

DEBORAH K. RUDDELL JONES
    Deborah K. Ruddell Jones, 48, of Center died May 15, 2007, in Marshall.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born June 19, 1948, in Carthage, she was the daughter of Johnnie Ruddell and Marjorie Humphries Ruddell.  Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Ruddell.  Survivors include Husband, Donald Jones, of Center; Daughter, Pamela Williams of Harlingen; Mother, Marjorie Ruddell; Brother, Robert Ruddell of Center
J. D. SNELSON
    J. D. Snelson, 86, of Garrison died May 17, 2007 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born November 20, 1920, in Garrison, he was the son of Will Allie Snelson and Erma Stephenson Snelson.  Mr. was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers.  Survivors include his Wife, Joyce Snelson of Garrison; Daughter, Kay Jackson of Shreveport; Sister, Pauline Williams of Kountze.  Garrison Funeral Home.
