MILDRED LOUISE JONES
Mildred Louise Jones, 79, died May 18, 2009. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. She was born on August 20, 1929 in Center, Texas to Terrell and Neoma Holt. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Charles Edward Jones. Survivors include, Sons, Glen Ray Jones and wife Patricia of Pearland, Ronnie Joe Jones and wife Melissa of Alvin; Sister Helen Yates and husband Jack of Center, Texas.

JACQUES HENRI MARCEL CASTELIAN
Jacques Henri Marcel Castelain, July 18, 1926 – April 19, 2009. Burial was in Duncan Cemetery, Shelby County. Survivors include, Wife, Pamela Duncan-Nowell Castelain; 2 children; 2 brothers; many other family members spanning three continents. He has family in France and Morocco, having been born in the Dunkirk, France region and raised in Morocco after World War II. As a 12-year old child, he survived the bombing of Dunkirk by Adolf Hitler in May 1940, was imprisoned by the Germans in summer 1940 and escaped. He was aided by the French Resistance in his escape to the Free Zone near Spain where his father, Henri Paul Castelain and his uncle, Numa Castelain were serving in the French air force outside occupied France. His uncle and father were famous war pilots in France during WWII. Jacques served in the French army in North Africa as a Lieutenant, having campaigns in the French Foreign Legion and the Moroccan Tiraeurs. He was an expert in weaponry.

GLENDON MARIE BURNAMAN WARR
Glendon Marie Burnaman Warr, 62, of Joaquin, died May 19, 2009 in Lufkin. Burial was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born July 16, 1946 to Rufus Burnaman and Cloie Belle Denman Burnaman. She is preceded in death by, Parents. Survivors include, Husband, Rev. Robert D. Warr, Jr. of Joaquin; Daughter, Karen Kay Evans & husband John L. of Joaquin; Sister, Shirley McKinney of Etoile; Brother, Doyle Burnaman & wife Emmlene of Etoile; Half Sister, Netha O’Merea of Carrollton.

HANK WIDEMAN
Hank Wideman, 81, of Timpson, died May 17, 2009 at his home in Timpson. He was born on February 14, 1928 in Austin, Texas to Henry Leonard Wideman, Sr. and Edna Thiele Wideman. He is preceded in death by, Parents. Survivors include, Wife, Diana Wideman of Timpson; Children, Linda Schmidt and her husband James of Shelbyville; Wayne Wideman and his wife Pam of Africa, Steve Wideman and his wife Jan of Kansas, Barbara Luthy and her husband Pete of Wyoming, Debra Glase of Sour Lake, Texas, Joe Freydenfeldt and his wife Jodi of Austin, Texas. A memorial was held at Tennessee Presbyterian Church.

Jeanette Kaluza, 53, died May 16, 2009 in Lufkin. Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born on October 4, 1955 in Galveston, Texas to Arnold F. Kaluza Sr. and Helen Kaluza. She was preceded in death by, Father, Arnold F. Kaluza, Sr. Survivors include, Mother, Helen Kaluza; Brother, Arnold F. Kaluza Jr. & wife Angela; Sister, Joanne K. Cooper & husband Richard.

Mary Lois “Sally” Milford Griffin, 73, of Nacogdoches died May 11, 2009 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born on January 19, 1936 in Timpson, Texas to Barney L. Milford & Monthielde Harris. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Thomas C. Griffin; Brother, Carroll Wayne Milford. Survivors include, Husband, Harold Lee Griffin of Nacogdoches; Sons, Jimmy Griffin of Nacogdoches, Brad Griffin of Nacogdoches, Doug Wadzeck of Ga.

Survivors include, Father, John Frank Brinson of Timpson; Mother, Zina Thompson of Vacaville, CA; Sister, L'erin Brinson of Vacaville, CA; Sons, Colton Miles Carr of Zuni, VA., John Tristan Brinson of Vacaville, CA; A memorial service was held in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel.
TIQUAN "Ti" EMANIS DIXON
Tiquan “Ti” Emanis Dixon, 24, of Center, died May 18, 2009 in Center. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born March 28, 1985 to David Emanis and Sheila Hooks Emanis. He was preceded in death by, Father, Sanders Dixon. Survivors include, Daughter, Kaley Machele Dixon of Nacogdoches; Mother, Shelia Goodwin & husband Billy of Center; Father, David Emanis of Center; Sisters, Emmie Bailey & husband Curtis of Shelbyville, Leslie Courmier of Center; Brother, Scotty Emanis of Center.
