Remember Melinda was the Daughter of James Merrill Walker, so there are two lines of ancestry... Please attend and meet your kin..

  The James M. Robertson descendants will be having a reunion on June 19, 2004, at Ramah Baptist Church near Tenaha. The program will start at 9:00 AM. Present Shelby County families include Mary Pauline Robertson Wilburn descendants:   Stella Wilburn Jacobs, and Monroe Wilburn.   Other Robertson lines are descendants of  Mollie Innes and Archie Smith Robertson , who remained  in Shelby County.  Three brothers; Joseph Neal Robertson, Robert Lewis Robertson and Houston Bascom Robertson migrated to the Garland/Mesquite/Rockwall area about 1900.   Wesley Burke Robertson went to the Galveston area.  Malcolm Newton ( Richard)Robertson and Jesse Arthur Robertson went to Corpus Christi.  We want people from all these lines to be present.  If you have not received an email or snail mail invitation please contact Reecie Stanley  by email: rstanley@ndemand.com    or 1548 CR 1021, Center, TX 75935.  I will send you all the information that you will need. Once again, it is time to remind you of the annual Memorial Day and Homecoming at Newburn Cemetery.  The date is Saturday, June 26, 2004, about the middle of the morning.    Please bring all your family and join in the fellowship; visit with old friends and relatives; enjoy the music of guest singers; enjoy the message of our visiting minister; and have a hearty meal at the dinner-on-the-ground.  Remember, we are expecting to see all of you and your families and friends on June 26.  For additional information email Leonard Irish

JOHN HARVEY BALL
   John Harvey Ball, 68, of Timpson died May 29, 2004 in Center.  Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery, Timpson.  Born January 11, 1936, in East Prairie, Missouri, he was the son of Francis Marion Ball.   He was employed with Holly Farms.  Survivors include his wife, Lena Liles Ball of Timpson; step-sons, Glenn Martin of Melbourne, Florida and John R. Martin of Carthage; step-daughter, Cheryl Ann Cain of Tatum.  Taylor Funeral Home.
LUCILLE CHRISTOPHER YARBROUGH
   Lucille Christopher Yarbrough, 89, of Center died May 27, 2004 in Center.   Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery, Nacogdoches.  Born April 18, 1915, in Nacogdoches County, she was the daughter of Frank Christopher and Julia Ann Chandler.   She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Yarbrough was married to Eugene "Shorty" Yarbrough and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son,s Kenneth Yarbrough of Livingston, Spencer Yarbrough of Willis Point, Joe Yarbrough of Tenaha and Bruce Yarbrough of Center; daughter, LeGene Smoak of Jefferson.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ALLIE MAE WRIGHT
   Allie Mae Wright, 86, of Center died May 31, 2004 in Center. Burial was in East Hamilton Cemetery.  Born September 25, 1917, in Milam, she was the daughter of Sam and Della Cochie Nichols.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wright and son David Wright.  Survivors include son, Earl Wright of Shelbyville; daughters, Evelina Morrison of Nacogdoches, Brenda Curry of Logansport, Louisiana and Sonya Golden, Mary Jane McSwain, Fay Henry and Thelma Wright, all of Center; sisters, Bernice Brittain of Center and Vera Wilson if Marshall; brother, Jimmy Nichols of Marshall.  Mangum Funeral Home.
THERESA "TOOPIE" CUCULIC
   Theresa Cuculic, died May 29, 2004 in Houston.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center. born January 5, 2004, in Austin, she was the daughter of Sidney and Annie Cowser Jenkins.  She was a homemaker.  Survivors include husband Gail Cucuclic of Center: sons, Mark Cuculic of Houston and John Cuculic of Montgomery; daughters, Jan Crow, Sue Cuculic, both of Houston: Gayla Fidje of Waccabuc, New York; brother, Jim Jenkins of Houston. Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
EDITH MARIE SMITH YARBROUGH
  Edith Marie Smith Yarbrough, 55, of Mt. Enterpirse died May 31, 2004.  Burial was in Blair Cemetery, Timpson.  Born May 1, 1938, in Panola County, she was the daughter of Tommy and Ruby Richards Smith.  She was a homemaker.  She was married to Robert Yarbrough, and he preceded her in death.   Survivors include son Robert Glen Yarbrough of Mt. Enterprise; daughter, Renae Elliott of Mt. Enterprise; sister, Mae Travis of Beckville.  Taylor Funeral Home.
