                 The Wimberly Cemetery annual homecoming will be Sunday, June 17th at 10:30 A. M. with lunch at 12 noon.  Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a time of food and fellowship.  Singing will begin at 1 P. M. by the Shelby County Singers.  All of those interested in the upkeep of the cemetery are urged to attend.  Donations may be mailed to Wimberly Cemetery, 13305 FM 139, Shelbyville, Texas 75973

Newburn Cemetery Homecoming and Memorial Day

The Annual Newburn Cemetery Homecoming and Memorial Day will be held at the Newburn Cemetery on Saturday, June 30, 2007 from about 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 P. M.   Everyone with an interest in the cemetery is invited to come and enjoy the fellowship with us.

 


 Homecoming is September 28 - 29, For Center High School

FAYE PEDDY
    Faye Peddy,
of Tenaha, passed away January 19, 2007 in Tyler. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery.  She is survived by her husband, Julian Peddy, of Tenaha.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home. (No other data available).

VICKY DARLENE TREAT
    Vicky Darlene Treat, 47, of Joaquin died June, 7, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Smith-James Cemetery.  Born November 6, 1959, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Robert Quincy and Lessie Lenora Barnett Adams.  Ms. Treat was preceded in death by Sister, Robbie Diane Hagans.  Survivors include Husband, Judd Treat of Joaquin; Parents, Robert and Lessie Adams of Galloway; Son, Paul Douglas Kinman III of Carthage;  Daughter, Golda Kinman Sowders of Galloway; Sister, Laurie Cordova of Galloway.  Hawthorn Funeral Home, Carthage.

RICKY GLYNN JONES
    Ricky Glynn Jones, 49, of Center died June 7, 2007, in Tyler.  Burial was in Myrtle Springs Cemetery, San Augustine, he was the son of Levell Jones and Betty Vaughn Jones.  Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Jones.  Survivors include Father, Levell Jones of Center; Daughter, Tammie Smith of Center; Brother, Teral Jones of Nacogdoches.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MRS. BOBBY HARDAGE EDWARDS
    Mrs. Bobby Hardage Edwards, 87, formerly
of Timpson.  She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson. (No other data available)
BETTY GREEN
    Betty Green, 81, of San Augustine died June 12, 2007, in San Augustine.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born May 1, 1926, in Pearson, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Andrew Lee and Georgia Mae Buckingham Mitchell.  Ms. Green was preceded in death by Husband, John Ernest Green.  Survivors include Sons, Edward Lamar Green, David Allen Green an dHampton Lee Rutland, all of Houston and Bobby Cartell Rutland of Dallas; daughters, Gail Watkins of San Augustine and Mitchell Ferguson of Livingston; sisters, Emma Rutland Powdrill of Center and Ollie Phillips of Bridgewater, New Jersey.  Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine.
FRENCHIE SMITH
    Frenchie Smith, 60, of Nacogdoches died June 12, 2007, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Cedar Yard Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born February 9, 1947, in Sutton Mill, she was the daughter of I. T. and Callie Marie Norwood Smith. Ms. Smith was a nurse's aide.  Survivors include Daughter, Cassi Y'Barbo of Nacogdoches, and Sue Anderson of Nacogdoches; Sisters, Debbie Sanford and Linda Blanton, both of Chireno, Nelda Bryant of Atlanta, Louisiana and Angie Thompson of Nacogdoches. 
WILLIE ARIOLA
    Willie Ariola,
age 22 years, of Joaquin died Saturday in Denver Co., arrangements are pending at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. (No other data available.)
