The Timpson class of 1967 is having a Class Reunion on July 4th during the Frontier Days activities. Please plan to meet at the Parade at 10:00 am in front of the Timpson/Tenaha News Office on the Square. After everyone is there, we will decide what to do from there. O D Hughes, 78, of Longview, died June 27, 2009. Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery, Longview. He was born October 12, 1930 in the Short Community of Shelby County to Druie and Myrtie Monroe Hughes. O D served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Weldon Hughes, Grady Hughes, Billy Ray Hughes, O B Hughes, Donald Hughes. Survivors include, Wife, LaRea Hughes of Longview; Children; Glynn Hughes & wife, Linda, Mark Hughes & wife, Dianne, Cheryl Hughes, Kyle Hughes & wife, Lisa.

 
JACKIE MILLER
Jackie “Rusty Nail” Miller, 57, of Center, died June 26, 2009 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born April 27, 1952 in Timpson to Sonny Miller and Delmar Smith Miller. He is preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Mike Miller, Alfred Miller, Robert Miller; Sisters, Hazel Whittington, Meg Cooper, Gladys Prinz. Survivors include, Son, Ricky Miller of Joaquin; Daughter, Angela Miller of Joaquin; Brother, Billy Miller and wife Fay of Nacogdoches; Sisters, Patsy Bates and husband Gene of Nacogdoches, Helen Christopher and husband Verdell of Nacogdoches, Dollie Lovett and husband Jerry of Center.

JEAN SIMS
Jean Sims, 79, of Tenaha, died June 26, 2009 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Earl Ladd Cemetery, Danville, Arkansas. She was born March 3, 1930 in Danville, Arkansas to Alva Jake Broadstock and Dora Lee King Broadstock. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Vernon Sims. Survivors include, Son, David Sims & wife Pat of Tenaha.

OTIS E. BAGGETT
Otis E. Baggett, 97, of Douglass, died June 28, 2009 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born February 6, 1912 in Deadwood, Texas to Thomas and Estella Robe Baggett. He was in the US Army / Air Corp during WWII. He is preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Gracie Lucille Sprately Baggett; Son, Alton Lee Baggett; Daughter, Yvonne Estele Baggett Gray; Brothers, James Baggett, Marcus Thomas Baggett, Rufus Arville Baggett, Albert Jiggs Baggett; Sisters, Linnie Baggett Jordan, Mary Beatrice Baggett Summerville. Survivors include, Daughter, Evelyn Joyce Baggett Vance of Nacogdoches, TX; Sons, Herbert J.
