Betty Ruth Slatten, 68, of College Station, formerly of Center, died June 26, 2014 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. She was born February 28, 1946 in Center to Denton and Blanche Stephenson Haley. She graduated from Center High School in 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, Denton Haley. Survivors include, Daughter, Haley Beth Williams & husband, Caleb of College Station; Mother, Blanche Haley of Center; Brother, Denny Haley of Center.

Buster Ford, 78, of Center, died June 27, 2014 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Center. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born July 11, 1935 in Bentonville, Arkansas.
