Gwendolyn “Joyce” Jennings, 71, of Center, died July 1, 2021, at CHI St Luke in The Woodlands, Texas.  Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  She was born October 06, 1949, in Center, Texas to Beulah Jennings and Frankie Hughes Jennings.  She graduated from C.H. EVELYN BRIGHT HUGHES
Evelyn Bright Hughes, 96, of Center, died July 4, 2021, in Center.  Interment was in Campti Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born in the Campti Community to Price and Vera Forsyth Bright on January 23, 1925. She attended Campti School through 8th grade and then Shelbyville High School graduating in 1942.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Travis Hughes; Parents; Sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Sonny Jameson; Son-in-law, Mac Carter.  Survivors include, Children, Mary Culver & husband Jim, Mavis Carter, Martha Goodwyn & husband James.
