GLEN E. WHEELER
   Glen E. Wheeler, 70. of Nacogdoches died July 2, 2008, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born August 8, 1937, in Timpson, he was the son of Oscar and Agnes Honeycutt Wheeler.  Survivors include Wife, Doris Wheeler of Nacogdoches; Daughter, Deboral Taylor of Eddie; Sons Randy Glen Wheeler and Ricky Wheeler, both of Dallas.  Laird Funeral Home.
WILLIE GEORGE RATCLIFF
    Willie George Ratcliff, 60, died June 25, 2008  Burial was in East Liberty Cemetery.  Born March 27, 1948, he was the son of Wilson and Verna Ratcliff. Survivors include Mother, Verna J. Ratcliff of Center; Wife, Josephine Ratcliff, Christopher George Ratcliff of Selina, Kansas; Daughter, Edna Boykins of Shelbyville, Patricia A. Ratcliff, of Dallas and Monica Ratcliff of Denton; Brothers, Willie Glenn Ratcliff of Shelbyville, Percy Howard Ratcliff of Center; Sister, Carolyn K. Mosley of Houston.  Community Funeral Home.
A. T. CARTWRIGHT
   A. T. Cartwright, 54, of Shelbyville died June 13, 2008.  Burial was in Gates Chapel Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Born July 17, 1954, in Shelbyville, she he was the son of Louis and Cassie Cartwright. Survivors include, Wife, Dorothy Cartwright; Sons, Andre Cartwright of Shelbyville, Michael Garner of Center; Daughter, Shiquita Jackson of Shelbyville, Parents, Louis Cartwright, Jr. of Shelbyville; Brothers, David Cartwright, Selvin Cartwright, Frank Cartwright Chris Cartwright, all of Shelbyville, Bobby Joe Cartwright of Tenaha; Sisters, Dorothy Cartwright of Tenaha.  Community Funeral Home.
LEWIS CARTWRIGHT, JR.,
   Lewis Cartwright, Jr.,  77. died June 20, 2008.  Burial was in Gates Chapel Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Born April 25, 1931, he was the son of Lewis Cartwright, Sr. and Lucy Cartwright.  Mr. Cartwright was preceded in death by Sister, Rhonda and Son A. T. Cartwright.  Survivors include Wife, Cassie Mae Cartwright of Shelbyville; Brother, W. M. Carthwright of Shelbyville; Daughters, Dorothy Ann Ricardo of Shelbyville; Sons, David Cartwright of Shelbyville.  Selvin Cartwright of Shelbyville Bobby Cartwright of Shelbyville   Community Funeral Home.
ROBERT MCGEE
   Robert McGee, 81, of Joaquin died July 28, 2008.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery.  Born April 7, 1927, he was the son of Allen and Pauline Moore.  Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his Daughter, Debra Cockrell.  Survivors include Wife, Katharine of Joaquin; Daughters, Gail Jacobs of Lufkin and Sheila Parker of Joaquin; Mangum Funeral Home. 
ROBERT D. GANN
   Robert D. Gann, 60, of Shelbyville, died July 6, 2008 at his residence.  Cremation was requested.  Born August 14, 1947 in Shelby County.   Mr. Gann was preceded in death by Father Douglas Bradford Gann; Sister, Tonya Baggett.  Survivors include Wife Deborah Gann of Shelbyville; Daughter, Amanda Gann of Shelbyville; Son, Staff Sergeant Aaron Gant of Bamberg, Germany; Mother, Virginia Walden of Nacogdoches; Sisters, Mary Beth Gann of Shelbyville; Step-Mother Melba Gann of Shelbyville.

BLANCHE MOODY
   Blanch Moody, 94, of Center, died July 8, 2008 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born April 19, 1914 in Center she was the daughter of Jeff Jackson and Addie Walker Jackson. Ms. Moody was preceded in death by Husband, Arvin Moody, Daughter Jean Crymes.  Survivors include Mary Beth Diamond of Carthage; Son, Jeff Moody of Keithville, Louisiana.

JAMES ARTHUR BAILEY, SR.
    James Arthur Bailey, Sr. 67, of Lufkin died July 3, 2008.  Burial was in Sardis Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born December 5, 1940, in Center, He was the son of Francis Barto and Betty Cathleen Hilton Bailey.  Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by Sisters, Shelba Jean McDonald and Wanda Burt; Brother, Thomas Bailey, Sr.  Survivors include wife Patsy Bailey; Son, James A. Bailey, Jr., Daughter, Denise Massey
MARY ALICE SAMFORD
   Mary Alice Samford, 83, of College Station, Formerly of Center died July 9, 2008.  Burial was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born September 4, 1924, she was the daughter of Zora Albert Quinsenberry and Vergie Combs Quinsenberry.  Ms. Samford was preceded in death by Brothers, Sammy E. Quinsenberry and Charles A. Quisenberry; Sister, Margaret O. Shaw.  Survivors include Husband Joe W. Samford, of College Station; Son, Donald W. Samford of College Station; Sister, Glenda Sue Conner of College Station.
