DOROTHY L. MCCAULEY HENDERSON---Dorothy Henderson, 74, of Nacogdoches died July 6, 2002 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born August 26, 1927, in Center, she was the daughter of Angelo and Edith Jenkins McCauley.  Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband James Tom Henderson.  Survivors include sons, J.T. Henderson of Nacogdoches, Joseph Britt Henderson of Jacksonville and Ronnie Mark Henderson of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; sisters Easter Johnson of Garden City, Kansas and Wanda Henderson of Austin.  Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Directors
JEANETTE MARIE EUBANKS--Jeanette Eubanks, 59, of Rockwall, died July 6, 2002. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.   She was born January 6, 1943 in Sealy.  Survivors include her husband Edward T. Eubanks; daughter, Allegra Calkins; son Sean Eubanks; mother, Gussie Hallam; and brothers Lynn Hill and Roger Hill. Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MOZELL CLARK---Mozell Clark, 75, of Sardis Community, Center, died July 6, 2002 at her home. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery.   Born March 7, 1927, in Angelina County, she was the daughter of M. H. and Minnie Stuart Colwell.  Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband Elton Clark.   Survivors include daughter, Debbie Clark; sisters, Lucille Patry of Newport News, Virginia and Estelle Reeves of Huntington. MURIEL SAMFORD THAMES---Muriel Thames, 82, of Center, died July 7, 2002 in East Medical Center, Tyler.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Born September 22, 1919, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of S. B. and Lurline Lemons Samford.  Mrs. Thames was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Thames.  Survivors include daughter Julie Muller of Tyler; sister Nelwyn Samford of Tyler.  Mangum Funeral Home.
MARIE WILSON---Marie Wilson, 88, of Shelbyville, died July 7, 2002 in Center.  Burial was in Wimberly Rayburn Cemetery.  Mrs. Wilson was born April 8, 1914 , in Shelby County.   She was the daughter of Allen an Alice Lout Collum. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Wilson.
MAVIS JOHNSON---Mavis Johnson, 73, of Center died July 4, 2002.  Burial was in Thompson Cemetery. Born August 2, 1928, she was the daughter of Jarrett Patton and Adeline Garrett.  Survivors include, her husband, N.H. Johnson of Center; sons, James Moore of Tenaha, Tommy Lee Johnson of Houston, Willie Johnson of Shelbyville, Clyde Johnson of Center and Eddie Johnson of Lufkin; daughters, Bettie Beln of Center, Mavis Dietta Nickerson of Houston, Doris Stansberry of Center and Carolyn Lacy of San Augustine; Sisters, Geraldine Watts of Houston and Earlene Jones McDaniel of Center; brother R.A. CLABIE BOOTH EADEN---Clabie Eaden, 92, died July 6, 2002.  Burial was in Mt. Gillion Cemetery.   Mrs. Eden was born May 3, 1910 in Center to Courtney and Clarbon Booth.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.  She is survived by her children, Pauline Edwards of Center. JORDAN LEIGH HUGHES---Jordan Hughes was born and died on July 7, 2002. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  She is survived by her parents Lee and Susan Hayes Hughes of Timpson; Grandparents Ronnie and Regina Hayes of Clayton, Diana Hayes of Marshall, Rev. W.W. "BILL" VAUGHN---Bill Vaughn, 85, of Shelbyville, died July 5, 2002 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial was in Strong Cemetery. Born April 26, 1917, in Shelby County, he was the son of C.C. Vaughn and Annie McDonald Vaughn.  Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.  He is survived by Sharon Holloway of Center; sisters, Eula Long of Shelbyville and Catherine Rash of Monticello, Arkansas; brother C.D. JAMES WAYNON ADAMS---James Waynon Adams. 70. of the Huber Community died July 10, 2002.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.   Born May 30, 1932, in Shelby County, he was the son of Willie M. and Lois Powers Adams.  Survivors include his wife Ileta Adams and brother Vernon Pate of Austin.
