My book - Samuel McKee and His Family - is at the printer's and I expect shipment by the end of this week or early next week.  Francis Vigo McKee, who arrived in San Augustine from Indiana ca 1839, and whose sons Josiah Vigo McKee, Shannon White, Samuel Crawford, Wesley, and Archibald all figure in the history of East Texas, was one of the thirty-two grandsons of Samuel McKee whose lines I have traced.
I've been in regular communication with Joe Bailey McKee, recently moved from Center to Farmersville, and with Joe Fields in Center, but perhaps others in the area might be interested in the book.  If you would like a copy of the book just email me for additional information --- David R.
