New Stuff/Additions/Corrections

The 12th Netherly Family  Reunion will be held Friday, July 28, Saturday, July 29 and Sunday July 30, 2006 at the Community Center, 423 San     Angustine St., Center, Texas.    Friday, July 28th from 6:00pm - 7:15pm will be family fellowship/get acquainted; 7:30pm - 8:45pm dinner (fish fry); 9:15pm - 10:00pm will be the Netherly "Let's Make a Deal" game.  Saturday, July 29th from 10:30am - 12:00pm family business meeting; 12:30pm - 3:00pm lunch; games will begin at 1:45pm - 3:30pm.  Saturday Evening - 7:00pm - 10:30pm - modeling, talent show and dinner.   Sunday, July 30th, 2006 - 7:45am -  9:00am church services "Todd Springs Baptist Church."    If you should have questions regarding the above information, please contact  Bertha Hooper at 214-375-7408 or Sarah Burns (214-374-1419).  I can be reached by email eshaw@dcccd.edu.

Obituaries
HENRIE FAE ELLIOTT
    Henrie Fae Elliott, 68, died July 22, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Old Home Cemetery.  Born September 22, 1937, she was the daughter of Elbert and Julian Oates Johnson.  Survivors include son Billy Hooks of Center; daughters, Sheila of Center, Julia Preston of Lufkin and Iva Mikesh of Center. Watson & Sons Funeral Home. 
VIRGIE SHERROUSE
    Virgie Sherrouse, 87, of Shepherd, died July 20, 2006 in Shepherd.  Burial was in Johnson Cemetery, Joaquin.  Born April 7, 1919, she was the daughter of Ike and Ella Bussey Emmons. Mrs. Sherrouse was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Sherrouse and son Ike Sherrouse.  Survivors include daughter Virginia Matthews of Cleveland and Loretta Sherrouse of Norwood, Louisiana; son, Bob Sherrouse of Porter, Clifford Sherrouse, of Cleveland and Carl Sherrouse of Concan.  Mangun Funeral Home.
OLA LEE LINDSEY
    Ola Lee Lindsey, 95, of Grandbury died July 20, 2006.  Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson.  Born January 26, 1911, she was the daughter of Bluford and Luella Peters.  Survivors include husband Wayne Lindsey of Grandbury; son, Robert Chumbley of Ft. Worth; daughter, Patsy Stone of Beaumont; brother, Bill Peters of Victoria  Taylor Funeral Home.
JAYSON LEON ANDERSON
    Jayson Leon Anderson, 35, of Center died July 23, 2006 in Center.  Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery.  Born October 06, 1970, he was the son of William Leon & Regina Windham Anderson.  Survivors include Mother, Regina McSwain of Center
RUBY THOMPSON
    Ruby Thompson, 84, of Center died July 23, 2006, in Center.  Burial was in Sholar Cemetery.  Born September 5, 1921, in Center, she was the daughter of Allen & Ethel Butler Joplin.  Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Hoy Thompson.  Survivors include Sister, Lois Thompson of Center. 
STEVE H. THOMPSON
    Steve H. Thompson, 75, of Center died July 27, 2006, in Center.  Burial was in Sholar Cemetery.  Born April 21, 1931, in Shelby County, he was the son of Johnny Ragen and Dorenda Priester Thompson.  Mr. Thompson was retired from Bruce Hardwood.  Survivors include, sons, Marcus Steve Thompson and Martin Thompson, both of Center and Rodney Thompson of Forney; daughters, Mary Ann Thompson of Timpson and Lois Hamilton and Gail Null, both of Garland; brother, Willard Roland Thompson of Center; sister, Ailene Lilly of Timpson.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
J. D. WILLIAMS
    J. D. Williams of Lufkin, died July 25, 2006, in Lufkin.  Burial was in West Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born January 31, 1928, in Martinsville, he was the son of Jim and Cordia Hodges Williams.  Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II.  Survivors include his wife Margie Williams of Lufkin; sons, Jimmy Williams of Palestine and Keith Williams of Lufkin; daughter, Pam Williams of Lufkin; Sister Ruby Fulson of Tyler.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
