Obituaries
JOHNNY FORD
    Johnny Ford, 55, of Shelbyville died July 27, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Union Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born July 17, 1952, in Houston, he was the son of Thomas ford and Elna Parker Ford.  Survivors include his wife, Alice Ford of Shelbyville; Sons, Jeremy Ford of Center and John Steven Ford of Round Rock; Daughters, Jennifer Ford of Nacogdoches and J. J. Ford of Shelbyville; Brothers, Larry Ford of China, Texas and Thomas Wayne Ford of Houston.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
KIMBERLY J. PORRAS
   Kimberly J. Porras, 48, of Tenaha died July 27, 2007, in Center.  Cremation was requested.  Born June 26, 1959, in Amarillo, she was the daughter of Bill D. King and Barbara Johnson King.  Survivors include Mother Barbara Haren and Stepfather Jim Haren of Fritch; Father, Bill D. King of Tenaha; Son, Abrin Peiham of Tenaha; Daughter, Cayilynn Ryszkowski of Harsel, Colorado; Brother, Sammy King  of Fritch, Larry King of Snyder and Gilbert of Fairplay, Colorado; Stepdaughter, Tash Leon of Tenaha.
BETTY LOU LIVINGSTON FOUNTAIN
    Betty Lou Livingston Fountain, 64, of San Augustine died July 29, 2007, in Center.  Burial was in White Rock Cemetery.  Born May 21, 1943, in Center, she was the daughter of Audrey Livingston and Pauline Hendricks Livingston.  Survivors include sons, Bert Fountain and Ricky Glenn Fountain, both of San Augustine; Sisters, Mary Ann Adams of Center, Sue Stockle of Simsboro, Louisiana and Mary Lou Ford of Lufkin; Brothers, Lyndon Earl Livingston of Kender, Louisiana and Clinton Livingston of Tyler.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
ELSIE SCOTT
    Elsie Scott, 77, of Center died July 30, 2007 at her residence.  Cremation was requested.  Survivors include Husband, Claude Scott of Center; Children Joann and Dean Scott.  Mangum Funeral Home.
JODY NICHOLS
    Jody Nichols, 20, of Center died July 29, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in East Hamilton Cemetery.  Born November 3, 1986, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Pat Nichols.  Survivors include Father Pat Nichols of Center; Grandmother Josephine Nichols of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
KATHRYN ELIZABETH PRINCE
    Kathryn Elizabeth Prince, 94, of Center died July 20, 2007 in Lufkin.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born February 3, 1913, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Wiley and Pearl Lawrence Watts.  Ms. Prince was a member of various organization in Center and taught private painting in Center and San Augustine.  She was preceded in death by Parents; Husband Virgil Prince; Brother Wiley Watts, Jr. and Sisters, Madeline Nix and Marian Purdy.  Survivors include Sons, Richard Prince of Center and David Prince of Nacogdoches. 
MARY ANN SCOTT
    Mary Ann Scott, 66, of West Columbia died July 31, 2007.  Burial was in Blair Cemetery, Timpson.  Born August 24, 1940, in Henderson, she was the daughter of Guy William and Eva Clara Churchman.  Ms. Scott was preceded in death by Husband, Bobby Scott, Sr.  Survivors include Son, Bobby Scott, Jr. and Johnny Scott, both of West Columbia; Daughter, Tina Wallace of Angelton; Sister, Sherry Castleberry of Timpson.  Taylor Funeral Home.
EUGENE WATSON
    Eugene Watson, 61, of Dallas died July 30, 2007 in Dallas.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born in 1946, in Center,  he was the son of Clyde and Elizabeth Watson and they preceded him in death.  Survivors include Brother, Dr. Thomas J. Watson of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Sister Cathryn Hall of Brazoria, Texas and Pets, Princess, Ginger, Daphine and George.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
 
 Billy Joe Hutto, 69, of Center died August 1, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born June 19, 1938, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Joe Hutto and Marverine Strickland White Hutto.  Mr. Hutto was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include Wife, Sue Shillings Hutto of Center; Sons, Joe Hunter Hutto Sr. of Princeton, Justin Heath Hutto of Springfield, Missouri; Sister, Nancy Perry; Brothers Donny Day Hutto and Michael Hutto. DALIAH BROWN SANDERS
    Daliah Brown Sanders, 89, of Center died August 1, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Ms. Sanders was born July 23, 1918.  She was preceded in death by husband Chester P. Sanders.  Survivors include, Sona, Chet P. Sanders and Mike Sanders, both of Dallas; Sisters, Hazel Brown of Mansfield, Louisians, Dorothy Menefee of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Maggie Prothro of Baton Rouge. Mangum Funeral Home.
H. C. WALLIS "BUD" HOLT
    H. C. Wallis Holt, 91 of Center died August 1, 2007 in Tyler.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born May 14, 1916, in Shelby County, he was the son of H. C. and Lilly Belle Wallis Holt.  Mr. Holt was a Army Veteran having served in WWII.  He was preceded in death by wife, Syble Holt; Brothers, William Henry and Ray Holt.  Survivors include, Son William Holt of Tyler.  Mangum Funeral Home.
DANNY CARROLL ROWE
    Danny Carroll Rowe, 62, of Joaquin  died August 2, 2007 at his residence. Cremation was requested.  Born October 21, 1944, he was the son of Carroll and Clara Turner Rowe Rockett.  Survivors include wife, Mary Ann rowe of Joaquin; Sons, Daniel Rowe of Plane, James Rowe and Michael Rowe, Both of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Nathan Wedgeworth of Center; Daughters, Tere Phillips of Bryan, Cheryl Stewart of San Antonio and Amanda Chapman of Nacogdoches; sisters, Loraine Pickard of White Oak and Carolyn Benskin of Pleasanton.  Mangum Funeral Home.
