Deborah Faye Childs, 60, of Longview, formerly of Center, died July 28, 2016, in Carthage. Interment was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born on Nov. 4, 1955, in Mansfield, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by, Father, Herbert Corbin Childs; Son, Derrick Davis. Survivors include, Parents, Marie and Richard Plunkett of Joaquin; Son, Dennis Davis of Longview; Sisters, Linda Robinson & husband, Randy of Carthage, Christy Ansel & husband, Jeff of Rawlings, Maryland; Brother, Richard Plunkett, Jr. of Joaquin.

ALICE LAVOICE MIDDLETON SMALLWOOD
Alice Lavoice Middleton Smallwood, 102, died August 2016. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born at home in the middle of a cotton patch on November 4, 1913 to Drury P. & Maggie Humphries Middleton. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husbands, Fred D. Lansford, J. T. Martin Smallwood; Siblings, Woodrow Middleton, Martin M. & wife, Shirley Middleton; two infant sisters; Son, John Horton. Survivors include, Children, Kathrene Horton, Martin Lansford, Johnce and Karen Smallwood, Amy and Rick Hume.
