 The Homecoming of Center High School has been change (again) to September 14 - 15.

Class of 1967:  Due to changes in the dates for Homecoming this year, our class will be  our 40th class reunion until next year - Fall of 2008

BARNEY DARRELL BRAWLEY
    Barney Darrell Brawley, 51, of Joaquin, died August 2, 2007.  Burial was in Neuville Cemetery.  Born August 4, 1955, he was the son of LeRoy and Maureen Fountain Brawley.  Mr. Brawley is a Veteran of the U. S. Army.  He is preceded in death by his Father Leroy Brawley.  Survivors include Sons, Jason Brawley of San Augustine and Shane Brawley of Tyler;  Mother, Maureen Brawley of Joaquin; Sister, Debra Spurlock of Tenaha.  Mangum Funeral Home.
HUGHY GENE BAILEY
    Hughy Gene Bailey, 64, of Center died August 3, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Neuville Cemetery.  Born March 11, 1943, in Victoria, Texas, he was the son of J. Hugh Bailey and Emma Lee Clark Bailey.  Mr. Bailey was a Farmer.  He was preceded in death by Wife, Nancy Bailey and Mother, Emma Lee Clark Bailey.  Survivors include Sons, Jimmy Dale Bailey of Houston; Father, J. Hugh Bailey of Center; Stepbrothers, Jarry Barlow of Center, Bobby Burlow of Center; Stepsister, Lillian Williams of Dallas. 
JAMES NEAL CAMPBELL
    James Neal Campbell, 74, of Orange died August 6, 2007.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born May 3, 1932, he was the son of R. W. Campbell.  Survivors include Wife, Mary Helen Boles Campbell; Father R. W. Campbell of Shelbyville; Sister, Marjorie Doggett of Shelbyville; Daughter, Renee Colyer of Houston.  Watson & Sons Funeral
ALPHA OATES HOLCOMB
    Alpha Oates Holcomb, 85, died August 6, 2007 at her residence.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. She was born in 1922?, and was the daughter of E. C. and Geneva Oats.  Ms. Holcomb was a Homemaker.  She was preceded in death by Parents; Husband Lloyd Holcomb. 
LAVERNA JAMISON KRUEGER
    LaVerna Jamison Krueger, 89, of Princeton, Texas died August 7, 2007.  Burial was in Patroon Cemetery.  Born in 1918, she was the daughter of C. T. and Nannie Gann Jamison.  Mrs. Krueger was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother, Teral Jamison; Sisters, Lurena Jacobs and Dell Jarvis.  Survivors include Daughter, Kathryn Palmer Williams of Quitman, Texas; Sister, Mildred Jamison Burney of Fulshear, Texas.  Mangum Funeral Home.
JAMES EDWARD STEWART
    James Edward Stewart, 77, of Center died August 8, 2007 at his residence.  Cremation was requested.  Born December 27, 1929, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Perry Stewart and Ada Pearline Waggoner Stewart.  Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, Judy Robinson Stewart of Center. 
LEON MONROE "BO" WAGSTAFF
    Leon Monroe "Bo" Wagstaff, 70, of Center died August 8, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Reynolds Cemetery.  Born January 10, 1937, San Augustine County, he was the son of Clarence Wagstaff and Oletta Tidwell..  Mr. Wagstaff is a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 in Center.  He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clarence Wagstaff and Oletta Tidwell; Brothers, Daniel Wagstaff and Timothy Wagstaff and Inlow Lane, Jr.; Sister Lula Wagstaff.  Survivors include Wife, Barbara Jean Wagstaff of Center; Daughters, Mary Jane Bolton of Center and Lisa Jean Harris of Center; Son, Jimmy Lee Wagstaff;  Mother, Joy Aline Wagstaff; Sisters Gravis Powell, Jeanette Forris, Charlene Sanders and gloria Wagstaff; Brother James Wagstaff.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
