JERRY GLEN GREEN
Jerry Glen Green, 78, of Timpson, Texas, died August 29, 2022, in Timpson, Texas. Interment was in Tennessee Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on August 24, 1944, in Houston, Texas, to John Perry and Juanita Rhodes Green.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Virginia Roberts Green.  Survivors include, Sons, Shane Green & wife, Ashley, Cade Green & wife, Dee Dee, Cole Green & wife, Tiffany, Rowdy Green; Sisters, Tempie Pike, Jeanie Rhodes & husband, JT; Brother, Mike Green & wife, Barbara.

LEMES L. CARTWRIGHT
Lemes L. Cartwright (Lem), 87, of Center, died August 28, 2022 at the E.R. in Center.  Interment was in Brittain Creek Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on November 19, 1934 in East Hamilton, Texas to William Cartwright and Mabelle Moore Cartwright.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, T.W. Cartwright; Sister, Elouise Johnson; Sons, Alvin Brinson, Quinard Earl Cartwright.  Survivors include, Children, Tommy Crockett (Patricia) of Colorado Springs, CO, Ortega Cartwright (LaTreaser) of Center, Veronica Cartwright of Center, Leonard Cartwright of Center, Laundre Johnson of Center, TraManski Johnson of Dallas; Brothers, James (Elizabeth) Cartwright of Sacramento, CA, Thomas Cartwright of Silsbee, TX, William Cartwright, Jr. of Center; Sisters, Janie Ann Coleman of Oakland, CA, Ester Cartwright of Center, Myrtle Lee Osby (Larry) of Center, Mattie Lee Martin of Center.

VAUDRINE McDANIEL
Vaudrine McDaniel, 86, of Tenaha, died September 4, 2022, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Ramah Cemetery, Tenaha.  She was born April 20, 1936, to Ida Mae Davis Ruddell and James Vernon Ruddell.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Jimmy McDaniel; Parents; Brothers, Frank E. Ruddell, William Durwood Ruddell,  Johnny Franklin Ruddell; Sister, Verna Mae Ruddell Douthit.  Survivors include, Daughters, Linda Hodge of High Island, Sharon Gray of Martinsville.

SHIRLEY WELCH

Shirley Welch, 75, of Timpson, Texas, died August 23, 2022, in Longview, Texas. She was born on May 23, 1947, in Charleston, West Virginia to James and Opal Shepherd Cole.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Daughter, Sharon E. Welch.  Survivors include, Daughters, Nancy Welch of Timpson, April McCloy of Bridgeport, WV., Lenora Buzzby of Charleston, WV.; Brother, Steven Cole of Charleston, WV. 

THERRILL C. HUGHES
Therrill C “TC” Hughes,95, died June 7, 2022.  He was born December 12, 1927, in Timpson, Texas (Shelby County) to Alford C. Hughes and Laura E. Jolley Hughes. He graduated from Timpson High School in 1945 and subsequently entered the United States Navy during WWII to serve in the South Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Springfield. He was preceded in death by, Father, Alford C. Hughes; Mother, Laura E. Jolley Hughes; Brother Lee Lavon Hughes.  Survivors include, Wife, Beth, Daughter, Dana Beth Webb & husband, Don; Sister-in-law, Mary Nell Bollman.
