The Class of 1967 will hold their reunion on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Center Country Club.


    Johnny Parma, 80, of Joaquin, died September 6, 2008, in Mansfield, La. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. He was born December 6, 1927 in Wallis, Texas to Frank Parma and Sophia Rankin Parma. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Joe Parma, Eugene Parma, Frankie Parma; Sister, Margaret Rohan. Survivors include, Wife, Mary Rogers Parma of Joaquin; Daughters, Jan Wallis of Joaquin, Patty Bays of Shelbyville, Kim Obergon of Joaquin; Sisters, Mary Ann Zoytka of Wallis, Annie Mae Hubenak of Rosenberg, Patsy Broussard of Spring, Betty Brewer of Spring, Evelyn Schima of Woodville, Alice McClain of Pasadena.

    Annice Monroe, 90, of Shelbyville, died September 8, 2008, in San Augustine. Burial was in Patroon Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born July 4, 1918 in Daingerfield to Griff Cason & Lona Williams Cason. Preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Don Monroe; Two Brothers and One Sister. Survivors include, Son, Lee Monroe of Shelbyville; Daughter, Donna Monroe of Shelbyville; Sisters. Maryann Buchanan of Houston, Sara Tregaskis of Palestine.

    Hollis G. Coe, 84, formerly of Shreveport, Louisiana, died September 8, 2008 at his home in Carrollton. Burial was in Wimberly Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born April 2, 1924 in Center to Ira Coe and Bertha Boozer Coe. Preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Doug Coe. Survivors include, Wife, Cleo Hooper Coe of Carrollton; Daughter, Kathy Carico of Carrollton, Sister, Helen Carter of Ft. Worth.

    Hazel Holman, 94, of Statesville, North Carolina formerly of Tenaha, died September 8, 2008 in Statesville, North Caroline. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha. She was born November 15, 1913 in Pollock, LA to William R. “Bill” and Cordelia “Cordy” Tangle Hinton. Preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, John Delta Holman; Son, Billy John Holman, Sr.; Brothers, Franics Hinton, Gibb Hinton, Hollis Hinton, Euthel Hinton; Infant Sister, Cordy Hinton, Sister, Gertie Tate.
