A. C. “Jake” Jacobs, 93, of Huxley, died September 4, 2014 at Memorial Health Systems of East Texas in San Augustine. Interment was in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas. He was born May 5, 1921 in Kaufman County, Texas to Tom and Minnie Cantrell Jacobs. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Kate Jacobs; Brothers & Sister, Marvin Jacobs, Slim Jacobs, Della Lee Edwards. Rev. Douglas Keifer McDonald, 81, of Timpson, Texas, died September 5, 2014, at his home in Timpson. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson. He was born August 1, 1933, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, to Ollie D. and Maud Smith McDonald. He served as the mayor of Timpson from 1998 until 2010. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Doy, Eloy, Norman McDonald. Survivors include, Wife, Sarah McDonald of Timpson; Sons, Douglas Roy McDonald & wife, Aretta of Overton, Texas, Jim McDonald & wife, Tammy of Timpson, Tim McDonald & wife, Misty of Timpson; Aunt, Effie Edwards of Timpson.

OUIDA MAE DENT WHITESIDE
Ouida Mae Dent Whiteside, 86 , of Austin, Texas, formerly from Timpson, died August 27, 2014. She was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on February 27, 1928 to Roy B. Dent and Mary Odell Johnson Dent of Timpson, Texas. She graduated from Timpson High School. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Harold Whiteside; Brother, Jack Dent; Sister, Rodell Dent Spencer. Survivors include, Brothers, Roy Dent of Lake Murvaul, Texas, Troy (Kay) Dent of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Ted (Pat) Dent of Nacogdoches, Texas; Children, W. Robin (Pat) Whiteside of Austin, Vikki Whiteside of Midpines, California, Marti (Ron) Willens of Pacific Palisades, California, Stan (Tay Tanya) Whiteside of Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

He was born January 7, 1943 in Shelby County, Texas to Garland and Bertie Mae Harris Britton. Ronnie graduated from Timpson High School in 1962. He was preceded in death by his father. Dovie Anderson Perry, 95, of Tyler, died September 01, 2014 in Tyler. Interment was in Smith Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born August 17, 1919 in Joaquin to Joseph Thomas and Thannie Jones Anderson. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Sister, Alice Hanson; Daughter, Johnnie Moore; Son, Donald Perry.
