Rickey Earl Gilchrist, 64, of Center, died September 9, 2022, in Center.  Interment was in Old Salem Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born December 4, 1957, to Mauddie Ann "Doodle" Gilchrist and C.B. "Buddy" Gilchrist.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Baby Gilchrist.  Survivors include, Wife, Teresa Gilchrist; Kids, Randall & Kara Gilchrist of Center, Wesley & Brittany Gilchrist of Center, Brandi Gilchrist of Center, Brittany Gilchrist of Center; Brother, David Gilchrist & wife Angie.

THOMAS WARREN SMITH
Thomas Warren Smith, 66, of Center, Texas, died September 13, 2022, in Center. Interment was in McClelland Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born on September 25, 1955, in Center, Texas, to Warren Christopher Smith and Allie Pearl Anders Smith.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Half-sisters, Dorthy Mae (Smith) Holt, Margie Nell (Smith) Boyett, Wanda Nell (Walker) Flanagan; Half-brother, Baron Ann Walker.  Survivors include, Wife, Rose Bennett; Son, James Warren Smith & wife Kimberly Chantel; Stepsons, Richard Curtis Tony, Logan Dean Sandifer.

Charles Ray "Sonny" Walker, 77, died September 10, 2022 at the Nacogdoches Medical Center - Center Emergency Room.  Interment was in Rather Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born July 17, 1945 in San Augustine, Texas to Charldron and Louella Walker.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Siblings, Billy Walker, Betty Walker, Johnny Walker, Charlene (Dudda) Walker Moody.  Survivors include, Wife, Mae Alice; Daughters, Cordelia Ross (James), Rachelle Walker (Marcus Goodwin); Special child, Pudgy "Pee Pee"; Siblings, Bobby Earl Walker (Shelia) of Dallas, L.C. Dorothy Mae Horton, 55, of Center, died September 11, 2022.  She was born to Sam Matthew and Every Sanders on October 13, 1966. Survivors include, Children, Travis Handy, Jr. of Center, Takeyah Handy of Center; Brother, Sam Sanders; Sister, Sharon Ravenell.

JERRY LEE GOETZMAN
Jerry Lee Goetzman, 73, of Shelbyville, died September 11, 2022, in Houston.  Interment was in Rosevine Cemetery, San Augustine County.  He was born December 28, 1948, in Houston, to Lona Mae Roach and Wayne Goetzman.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Yvonne Wetzel Goetzman; Parents; Brothers, Lawrence, James, and Bobby Goetzman.  Survivors include, Daughter, Lisa Goetzman; Sons, Jason Goetzman & wife Kerri, Dennis Stringer & wife Sharon.
