     McDonald Family Reunion (descendants of Luther & Coren [SNIDER] McDonald).  Everyone is welcome!  Sat., October 7, 2006.  10:30 a.m.  At Boles Field--Shelbyville, TX.  We will also be celebrating Howard McDonald's 80th birthday.

        The annual Brady School Reunion will be held October 7, 2006 at Center Community House, in front of Mangum Funeral Home from 9AM to ?. We're looking forward to seeing Old School Chums, Relatives, neighbors and friends.  Does anyone have a picture of the Brady Church? In Logansport -go 1 block past the first traffic light.  Turn Left on the Marshall Road - go 5 Miles. The marker is on the right side of road.  All roads are paved.

Obituaries
BILLY MICHAEL WATSON
    Billy Michael Watson, 61, of Center died September 24, 2006 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born December 23, 1944, in Center, he was the son of Robert Earl and Mittie B. Cassell Watson.  Mr. Watson was owner of Mangum Funeral Home and a Mason and Shriner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl and Mittie B. Cassell Watson; wife, Katha Stephens Watson; sister Anita Watson Nichols. Survivors include, daughters, Yandi Watson of Center and Yanci Watson Hendricks of Huxley; Brother, bobby Watson of Center. Mangum Funeral Home.
LOLA BELL CHOATE
    Lola Bell Choate, 102, of Dickerson died September 20, 2006 in Texas City, Texas.  Burial was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.  Mrs. Choate was a native of Center.  Survivors include son Rufus Choate of Alvin, Texas; daughter, Pauline Alexander of Dickerson, Texas and Grandchildren, Great, Great Great, Great Great Great Grandchildren.
ANNA LEE JOHNSON
    Anna Lee Johnson, 88, of Center died September 27, 2006, at her residence.  Burial was in Short Cemetery.  Born June 24, 1918, in Port Arthur, Texas, she was the daughter of Dallas Paul Oliver, Sr.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of Eastern Star.  Survivors include, sons and daughters daughter Alda Faye Yarbrough of Center; son, Sheriff Newton Johnson, Jr. of Joaquin;Brothers Dallas Paul Oliver, Jr of Port Arthur, Marion Oliver of Pineland, Vernon S. Oliver of Port Arthur, Marie Woods of Pineland, Lillie Ledford of Port Arthur Shirley Wallace of Illinois. Mangum Funeral Home.
LARRY WILLIFORD
    Larry Williford, 56, of Center died September 25, 2006.  Burial was in Cannon Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Born December 22, 1949, in Orlando, Florida, he was the son of Glen Franklin Williford and Ester Mueller Williford.  Mr. Williford was a veteran, having served with the US Marines. Mr. Williford was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delbert Williford; son, Shawn Williford.  Survivors include his wife Debbie Williford of Center; daughter, Lorie Choate of Center; son Jason Williford of Timpson; brothers Glenn Williford of Shelbyville, Wesley Baylor of Center; sisters, Shirley Bradshaw of Houston, Delores Langston of Center.
