1st Annual Fountain Family Reunion will be held at 10 AM until ??? October 25, 2008 at Community Center, San Augustine Street, Center, Texas.  A special gathering for all the descendants of Robert Jackson Fountain and Martha Potts Fountain. MELVIN GEORGE CLARK
    Melvin George Clark, 59, died September 24, 2008. At the family’s request, Mr. Clark has been cremated. He was born November 20, 1949 to Annie Mae & Marlin Clark. A memorial service was held September 27 at Sardis Pentecostal Church in Shelby County. Preceded in death by, Wife, Doreen Clark; Parents. Survivors include, Daughters, Geneva Kay Clark Kennedy of Blanco, Brandy Greenbaum of Houston; Son, Jimmy Clark; Brother, Ted Clark of Nacogdoches; Sister, Lanora Cowart.

JERRY WAYNE KENNON
    Jerry Wayne Kennon, 69, of Center, died Sept. 28, 2008. Burial was in Spanns Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born June 27, 1939 to Charles “Slim” Kennon & Mary Eaves Kennon. Survivors include, Wife Mary Kennon of Center; Daughters, Rochelle Wilson of Martinsville, Mary Bronwyn of Dallas, Katha Thomas of San Antonio; Brother, Tom Fitzgerald of Joaquin; Sister, Ann Baker of Kokomo, Indiana.

MARY LOU MILLER
    Mary Lou Miller, 80, of Shelbyville, died September 26, 2008 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born April 8, 1928 in Huxley to Willis Brittain and Tennie Buckley Brittain. Preceded in death by. Husband, Leo Miller; Son, Lonnie Miller; Sisters, Cora Mae Cruse & Marie Goings; Brothers, Davis Brittain & Tye Brittain. Survivors include, Daughter, Yvonne O’Rear of Huxley; Son, Tommy Miller of Huxley; Sister, Avis Moss of Joaquin; Brother, J.I. Brittain of New Mexico.

BEVERLY JONES CAMPBELL
    Beverly Jones Campbell, 52, of Livingston, formerly of Center, died September 29, 2008 in an automobile accident in Rye, Texas. Burial will be in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born March 14, 1956 in Abilene to J.B. Price and Shirlene Moore Price. Preceded in death by, Brother, Kenneth Price; Sister, Terry Jones. Survivors include, Daughters, Stephanie Moore of Lufkin, Brandy Moore of Lufkin; Son, Ryan Moore of Huffman; Parents, Bobby & Shirlene Jones; Sisters, Pam White of Center, Wendy Hicks of Joaquin.

BRANDON ANTHONY SHOOK
    Brandon Anthony Shook, 18, of Joaquin, died September 24, 2008 in a motorcycle accident. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.
